What Is Bilt Rent Day?

On the first of every month, holders of the Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card, the credit card for renters, can earn extra rewards on select purchases. Some strategic shopping on this day can help cardholders pad their stores of Bilt Points, which can be redeemed for travel, rent payments and more — or moved to one of Bilt’s transfer partners for potentially outsize value.
Rent Day: Elevated rewards on all purchases (except rent)
Each Rent Day, Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card holders can earn double the number of points on dining, travel and everything else (except rent). From 12 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. PT, cardholders earn:
6x Bilt Rewards on dining (normally 3x).
4x Bilt Rewards on travel booked directly from an airline, hotel or car rental company (normally 2x).
2x Bilt Rewards on other purchases, excluding rent (normally 1x).
Rent payments earn 1x Bilt Rewards every day, including Rent Day.
To maximize Rent Day, you could schedule bills to be paid on the 1st and wait to book upcoming travel on the 1st of the month as well. Consider, too, using your Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card to buy gift cards to your favorite restaurants on Rent Day. That way, you’ve prepaid for meals and locked in an excellent 6x rate on dining, no matter which day of the month you want to eat out. That's among the highest earnings rate you'll find on dining across any credit card.
Bonus points earned on Rent Day are capped at 10,000 Bilt Rewards.
Cardholders must use their Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card five times each billing cycle in order to earn Bilt Rewards for that month. If you use the card less than five times, you'll forfeit the points earned on those transactions. You'll still be able to earn 250 points on rent payments, though.

Rent Day comes with other perks available to all Bilt Members whether they have the Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card or not. These benefits include:
A complimentary SoulCycle ride at U.S. studios (only 10 free bikes are available per class).
The ability to earn more Bilt Rewards through Point Quest, a trivia game that awards points for correct answers.
A chance to have one month’s rent paid for by participating in the game show Rent Free.
Hero Benefits, or featured special offers, that can have big value. Previous Hero Benefits include a 100% points transfer bonus to IHG One Rewards and Lyft credits, but only for one day.
