American Express is rolling out a slew of limited-time offerings across an array of select cards, including things like statement credits, additional rewards and discounts on purchases that have become more common due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new features — beginning May 1, 2020 — extend for several months, with some lasting through the end of this year, depending on the card. All other normal card benefits remain the same. Terms apply.

Here's what's new.

Statement credits for Membership Rewards-earning consumer cards

Get up to $320 in statement credits when you use The Platinum Card® from American Express to pay for select streaming (including Netflix, Pandora, Spotify, Disney+, YouTube TV and more) and wireless telephone services from U.S. service providers (up to $20 per month on each, from May through December 2020). Terms apply (see rates and fees).

Additional rewards on airline and hotel cards

Delta cards

These Delta SkyMiles cards will earn 4 miles per $1 spent at U.S. supermarkets through July 2020:

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card

The following changes will apply to the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card for a limited time:

  • Through July 2020, the card will earn 6 Marriott Bonvoy points per $1 spent at U.S. supermarkets on up to $7,500 in eligible purchases. Normally, this is not a bonus category for the card.

  • From June through August 2020, U.S. restaurant purchases, including takeout and delivery, will qualify toward the $300 Marriott Bonvoy statement credit benefit. Typically, that credit applies only to purchases at Marriott Bonvoy hotels.

  • Terms apply (see rates and fees).

Hilton credit cards

These changes will apply for a limited time:

  • Through July 2020, the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card and the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card will earn 12 Hilton Honors points per $1 spent at U.S. supermarkets. The Surpass (see rates and fees) normally earns 6 points per $1 spent in this category; the Aspire (see rates and fees) normally does not feature U.S. supermarkets as a bonus category.

  • From June through August 2020, U.S. restaurant purchases made with the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, including takeout and delivery, will qualify toward the $250 Hilton resort credit benefit.

  • Any bonus points you earn on all Hilton American Express cards that post to your account between May 1 and Dec. 31, 2020, will be considered base points, meaning they’ll count toward elite tier qualification and lifetime Hilton Honors™ Diamond status. Usually, bonus points don’t count for this purpose.

  • Terms apply.

The Business Platinum Card® from American Express added more ways to receive statement credits:
