What is the first word that comes to your mind when you think of craft beer? Maybe it’s hops. Perhaps it’s IPA. Come February 2019, there’s a chance you might think of airplanes.

That’s BrewDog brewery’s plan, at least. The U.K.-based brewery, founded in 2007 by two friends and a dog, has announced the launch of BrewDog Airlines. This is just the latest unique move by BrewDog, which previously made headlines for creating a beer hotel.

The flight

BrewDog Airlines’ inaugural flight is a roundtrip journey from London Stansted Airport to Columbus, Ohio, from Feb. 21 – 26, 2019. Passengers aboard the flight will enjoy beers that are designed for high altitudes, specialty food pairings and a BrewDog care package, which includes things like an eye mask and blanket.

The trip

Once passengers arrive in Columbus, they will take tours of the BrewDog brewery located there and tour breweries in Cincinnati. Travelers can stay at the Columbus Doghouse hotel included in the trip or — for an additional fee — stay at the official BrewDog hotel. The BrewDog hotel features rooms with beer on tap and other beer-centric amenities.

The cost

The BrewDog trip is priced at about $1,605 per person. That includes the flight, the hotel and the tours.

The catch

If all of this sounds amazing to you, it’s time to invest. That’s right — BrewDog Airlines is only available to BrewDog Equity Punks, who are investors in the company.

To join, you must invest a minimum of $50 in BrewDog. The brewery is currently owned by more than 80,000 people around the globe. Joining the Equity Punks comes with other perks as well, such as priority access to new BrewDog beers and discounts at select bars.
