Summer is here, which means travelers can find lots of deals for enjoying time with family and friends in exciting locales. These are some of the hottest travel packages on offer for the season.
1. Summer of More promotion at Gaylord Hotels
Part of Marriott Bonvoy, Gaylord Texan near Dallas-Fort Worth airport, Gaylord Rockies near Denver airport, Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida, and Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee, are offering an amenity-rich Summer of More promotion.
Each property offers different benefits as part of its vacation package, but benefits include things like food and beverage credits, s’mores kits, scavenger hunt booklets and other on-property discounts. The promotion is valid for stays until Sept. 6, and can be booked via the Gaylord Hotels website.
Each of these properties also features plenty to see and do for families, including amazing water parks and swimming pools, immense atria with light and fountain shows, escape rooms and arts and crafts experiences. The Gaylord Opryland even has a unique aquatic attraction known as SoundWaves with water slides, multi-level play structures, body drop slides and a FlowRider Double attraction.
2. Flight-included packages at Hilton at Resorts World Bimini, Bahamas
It’s not every day you’ll find flights included in a vacation package for an island resort. But perhaps because Bimini is not the easiest place to reach on commercial flights, Hilton at Resorts World Bimini is offering a package that includes round-trip flights from Fort Lauderdale via Tropic Ocean Airways. The two- or three-night Fly & Stay package starts at $668 per person for a two-night stay with flights and room.
Eligible on-site spending, especially with a Hilton Honors-affiliated credit card, could help visitors rack up points during a trip to paradise. And for festivity-seeking travelers, the resort also just opened its 4 1/2-acre Resorts World Bimini Beach area that is similar to party-style beach clubs on other islands.
3. Five Day Getaway at Park Hyatt St. Kitts and St. Kitts Marriott Resort
The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has a variety of summer travel promotions. The “Five Day Getaway” at Park Hyatt St. Kitts and St. Kitts Marriott Resort gets you a five-day, four-night package that comes with a room category upgrade and complimentary breakfast for two adults and two kids daily. In addition, each hotel has its own special perks.
Park Hyatt St. Kitts includes two hours of in-room babysitting, 50% off a spa treatment and 50% off a cabana rental. At St. Kitts Marriott Resort, guests booking this package get a $25 daily credit to use at either of its two signature restaurants. Reservations at both properties must be made by the end of July for stays through Labor Day weekend.

Embracing the scorching summer temperatures, Scottsdale’s It’s That Hot website has promotions and packages for Arizona-bound vacationers. On the roster are deals like the Summer Redux package at ADERO Scottsdale, an Autograph Collection Hotel, which participates in Marriott Bonvoy. The package comes with a $100 credit to use toward dining or spa services for stays through Sept. 6.
Another Marriott Bonvoy hotel, Hotel Adeline, a Tribute Portfolio hotel, has a complimentary happy hour with two free drinks for guests through Aug. 14. There’s also the Casitas & Ritas package from the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, which comes with a $50 resort credit, two handcrafted margaritas and accommodations in a resort casita.
5. Hyatt Night In packages in Texas, Maryland and California
At several World of Hyatt properties this summer, the “Hyatt Night In” package includes local experiences. Available for stays through Sept. 12, the benefits vary by property, but include early check-in and late checkout, parking and food and beverage discounts, and a space-available upgrade.
A culinary or well-being amenity is also part of the promotion. At Hyatt Regency Lost Pines just outside of Austin, guests get a private session with the resort’s animals, like alpacas and miniature horses. The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is offering a private beach fire pit set up with s’mores plus complimentary cocktails and an appetizer. Near San Diego, Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina is offering four tickets for a whale-watching tour as the local amenity for this promotion.
6. Free membership in Leading Hotels of the World Leaders Club
The Leaders Club, the loyalty program of the Leading Hotels of the World, typically charges for membership (given that the luxury hotel perks are immediate when joining). Between May 24 and July 14, new members can take advantage of complimentary membership (normally $175) and the immediate benefits that come with it like free breakfast and late checkout, plus 500 bonus points. This promotion also offers double points during the eligibility period. With more than 400 luxury hotels around the world, this program could bring nice perks, especially since a free night starts at 4,000 points.
7. Au Soleil packages at Le Méridien hotels
The summer Au Soleil program from Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts, part of the Marriott Bonvoy family of brands, is available at many of its hotels around the world. This rate includes complimentary breakfast each day and a scoop of gelato or sorbet each afternoon (part of the brand’s Le Scoop program). There are also outdoor activities at hotels offering the Au Soleil rate including vintage games like dominoes or backgammon, a menu of wine spritzers and aperitifs and a downloadable Spotify playlist.
8. Best Western gift cards
Through Sept. 6, guests staying at any Best Western-branded hotel will receive one $20 Best Western gift card for every night they stay, up to a total of five nights. This is a great way to earn points for a stay as well as money to spend on a future trip. Best Western has a variety of brands in family-friendly locations like Hotel Lulu in Anaheim, California. Guests paying with a Best Western-branded credit card will earn even more points during a paid stay, too. Be sure to register for the promotion before your first stay.
