The Guide to Phoenix Airport Lounges

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the 12th-busiest airport in the nation, with 21.9 million passengers boarding planes there in 2022.

It has nine airport lounges, including a Centurion Lounge. Phoenix airport lounges are split between the airport’s two terminals, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4, but Terminal 4 offers more options.

You’ll find American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines lounges in Phoenix airport, but because Phoenix is an American Airlines hub, there are more Admirals Club locations than any other airline lounges.

Phoenix Terminal 3 has three lounges: a Delta Sky Club, an Escape Lounge and a United Club.

Delta Sky Club

• Located near Gate F8.

• Open from 4:45 a.m. to 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday and from 4:45 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

• Open to Sky Club members, The Platinum Card® from American Express members and the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card members in conjunction with a same-day flight on Delta. Delta Sky Clubs are also open to Delta One passengers and travelers flying on first or business class on a SkyTeam carrier. Terms apply.

Delta Sky Clubs offer complimentary alcoholic beverages, self-service meals and high-speed Wi-Fi. You can also find newspapers and televisions.

Escape Lounge – The Centurion® Studio Partner

• Located at the intersection of E and F gates, mezzanine level, next to Passage by Hudson.

• Open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express and The Centurion Card members receive complimentary lounge access for themselves and up to two guests. The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card holders receive complimentary access as well, but guests cost $30 each. Terms apply.

• Day passes are available for $45 at the door and $40 online at EscapeLounges.com if purchased at least 24 hours in advance.

Escape Lounge guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as alcoholic drinks; high-speed Wi-Fi; print, scan and copy services; and charging ports. On your way out, you can grab a cup of handcrafted coffee for the walk to your gate.

United Club

• Located near Gate E3.

• Open daily from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

• Open to United Club members and United Club℠ Infinite Card holders (which includes United Club membership). Passengers flying in United Polaris business class, United business on premium transcontinental flights and first or business class on a Star Alliance partner (at the departure point for the international flight) also can access United Clubs.

• Star Alliance Gold members can enter United Clubs with a same-day ticket on a Star Alliance member airline (at the departure point for the international flight).

• One-time passes are available for $59.

The 6,080-square-foot United Club lounge at Phoenix airport offers a range of typical amenities, such as complimentary bar service and snacks, free high-speed Wi-Fi and free magazines. A wellness room is available for passengers looking to nurse their babies, meditate or pray.

If you’re flying with American Airlines, your flight will likely depart from Terminal 4, where you have three Admirals Club locations. It’s also where you’ll find another Escape Lounge, The Centurion Lounge and a USO Lounge.

Admirals Club, Concourse A

There are three Admirals Club lounges at Phoenix airport: two in Concourse A and one in Concourse B. Pick the one that’s closest to your departing gate and pay attention to the business hours, as the opening and closing times vary.

• Located above Gates A7 and A9.

• Open daily from 6 a.m. to 12:15 a.m.

• Open to flyers with an annual Admirals Club membership, ConciergeKey members and AirPass members with Admirals Club privileges. Passengers flying in first or business class on American Airlines or other Oneworld carriers also can access Admirals Clubs. AAdvantage Executive Platinum, Platinum Pro or Platinum members can enter the lounge when flying on eligible itineraries (even in economy class).

• Also available for the Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard® members (flying American Airlines, a Oneworld carrier or JetBlue Airways) and Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members (in conjunction with a same-day flight on American Airlines or a Oneworld carrier).

• Day passes cost $79 or 7,900 AAdvantage miles.

Inside Admirals Clubs, passengers will find snacks as well as made-to-order specialties, house drinks, shower suites, business centers and personal travel assistance.

Admirals Club, Concourse A

• Located between Gates A19 and A21.

• Open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Entry rules are the same as above.

Admirals Club, Concourse B

• Located above Gates B5 and B7.

• Open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Escape Lounge – The Centurion® Studio Partner

• Located across from Gate B22.

• Open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• Entry rules are the same as above the Escape Lounge in Terminal 3.

The Centurion Lounge

• Located across from Gate B22, on the upper level.

• Open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Complimentary access available to The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express and The Centurion Card members. The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card members can receive complimentary access in conjunction with a same-day Delta ticket. Terms apply.

• Day passes are available to eligible cardholders for $50 for adults (ages 18 and above) and $30 for children (ages 2 to 17).

The Centurion Lounge in Phoenix airport offers seasonally inspired food, premium wine selections and craft cocktails, and high-speed Wi-Fi. You might be able to shower in between your flights, but keep in mind that there’s only one shower suite, and it’s shared by Escape Lounge and The Centurion Lounge guests.

USO Lounge

• Located on Level 2, East End, near B and C elevators (pre-security).

• Open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

• USO airport lounges are open to active members of the U.S. armed forces, as well as Reserve and Guard members and their families.

At the USO Lounge in Phoenix, you’ll find a snack bar, board and table games, charging stations, work areas, fax machines and printers, Wi-Fi, plus a children’s play area and a library.

No, Phoenix airport doesn’t have any Priority Pass lounges, meaning your Priority Pass Select membership won’t help you enter any airport lounges listed above.

Phoenix Sky Harbor is a major hub for American Airlines, so it’s no wonder that three of its nine lounges are Admirals Clubs.

Although there are no Priority Pass locations, those with The Platinum Card® from American Express still have two Escape Lounges, one Centurion Lounge and one Delta Sky Club to choose from before their flight. Those with a United Club membership and active military members have lounge options as well.
