2 Great Balance Transfer Cards That Also Earn Travel Rewards of October 2026
October, 2026Many balance transfer cards don't earn rewards, and few travel cards offer a 0% intro APR on transfers. These 2 cards do both. They may not have the longest intro periods or the richest travel rewards on their own, but together they give you time to pay down a balance while you earn toward your next trip.

What to know before choosing a balance transfer card with travel rewards
Pay down the balance first. The intro APR is the main way these cards save you money. Rewards are worth far less than the interest you'd pay on a balance that's still there when the intro period ends.
Watch the transfer fee and deadline. Both cards charge a fee on each transfer, and the intro rate only applies to balances moved within a set window after you open the account.
Think about how you travel. Flexible points you can use on any travel suit people who book many kinds of trips. Airline miles make the most sense if you already fly that airline.
Consider foreign transaction fees. If you travel abroad, a card without them saves you a few percent on every purchase.
