As part of American Airlines' 100th anniversary celebration, several of the carrier's Citi-issued AAdvantage credit cards are increasing their welcome bonuses.

For a limited time, new holders of the following cards are eligible for 30,000 more bonus miles than previously offered:

NerdWallet values American miles at 1.3 cents each. This is drawn from real-world data on hundreds of economy routes, so it's not a maximized value. In other words, you should aim for award redemptions that offer 1.3 cents or more in value from your American miles.

Here’s how all the American Airlines credit cards stack up:

• 2 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent at grocery stores, including grocery delivery services, and on eligible American Airlines purchases.

• 1 AAdvantage mile per $1 spent on other purchases.

• 2 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent at gas stations and restaurants and on eligible American Airlines purchases.

• 1 AAdvantage mile per $1 spent on all other purchases.

• First checked bag free for cardholder and up to 4 traveling companions on the same reservation.

• 6 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent on eligible AAdvantage Hotels bookings.

• 3 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent on eligible American Airlines purchases.

• 2 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent at restaurants, including takeout and delivery.

• 1 AAdvantage mile per $1 spent on all other purchases.

• First checked bag free for cardholder and up to 8 traveling companions on the same reservation.

• One American Airlines companion certificate every card anniversary for a single round-trip qualifying domestic flight in main cabin. Redeemable for $99 plus taxes and fees.

• Limited Admirals Club access.

• 10 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent on eligible car rentals and hotels booked through American Airlines.

• 4 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent on eligible American Airlines purchases (5 miles per dollar after spending $150,000 in total on the card in a calendar year).

• 1 AAdvantage mile per $1 spent on all other purchases.

• First checked bag free for cardholder and up to 8 traveling companions on the same reservation.

• Admirals Club airport lounge membership and access for up to 2 guests or immediate family members traveling with the cardholder.

• 2 AAdvantage miles per $1 spent on eligible American Airlines purchases.

• 1 AAdvantage mile per $1 spent on all other purchases.

• First checked bag free for cardholder and up to 4 traveling companions on the same reservation.
