As the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card rolls out the new benefits it announced last week, it's also sweetening its sign-up incentives.
Starting June 15, 2026, new cardholders of the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card will be eligible for this limited-time offer: Earn 100,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That matches the richest bonus this card has offered to date and is a substantial step up from the card's standard offer of 75,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards® points after spending $5,000 in three months.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card has offered bonuses of this size twice before, in 2021 and 2025.
This start date of the limited-time offer lines up with other changes to the card, including:
  • New bonus categories. Cardholders now earn 3 points per dollar spent on gas and electric vehicle charging, as well as 3 points per dollar on vacation rentals through services such as Airbnb and Vrbo.
  • A $100 annual hotel credit for bookings made through Chase. Previously, the credit was $50 per year.
  • A credit of up to $120 for TSA PreCheck, Global Entry or NEXUS. This credit is available every four years.
  • Complimentary Apple TV for one year (must activate by Dec. 31, 2026).
  • Enhanced travel protections, including emergency evacuation and transportation coverage.
As part of the revamp, some benefits are going away or being changed for the worse. There will no longer be a 10% anniversary point bonus. Also, point transfers to Hyatt will no longer occur at a 1:1 ratio. Going forward, the ratio will be 4:3. That means 1,000 Chase points will convert to just 750 World of Hyatt points.
One important feature of the card is staying the same, though: the annual fee remains at $95.
