Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card
NerdWallet rating
Through December 2027, Southwest’s credit cards will earn additional points for Lyft rides. There’s no enrollment required, but you must set your Southwest card as your default payment method in the Lyft app. Once you do that:
  • The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card ($99 annual fee) can earn 2 points per dollar on Lyft rides. This is in addition to the 2 points per dollar it earns on Southwest purchases, as well as at gas stations and grocery stores (on up to $5,000 in spending per year).
  • The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card can earn 3 points per dollar on Lyft rides. It also earns 3 points per dollar on Southwest purchases, and 2 points per dollar at grocery stores and restaurants (on up to $8,000 in spending per year).
  • The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card ($229 annual fee) can earn 5 points per dollar on Lyft rides. That’s on top of the 4 points per dollar it earns on Southwest purchases, and the 2 points per dollar it earns at restaurants and gas stations.

For all three of these cards, any spending outside of the above-mentioned categories earns 1 point per dollar.
There’s no cap on the points you can earn when you use your card for Lyft rides.
