Capital One Savor, Venture Cards Will Earn 5X Back on Uber Eats (Limited Time)

Capital One continues to offer additional ways to accrue bonus rewards in response to changing spending habits amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

From July 14, 2020, through Jan. 31, 2021, the following cards will earn extra on delivery orders placed through Uber Eats:

• The Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card (no longer available) and the Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card: Earn unlimited 5% cash back per $1 spent.

• The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card - Miles Boost: Earn an unlimited 5 miles per $1 spent.

Note that payments through third-party accounts like PayPal, or digital wallets like Apple Pay or Android Pay, don’t count for this promotion.

This is among several temporary changes Capital One cards have made since the pandemic began. For instance, through Dec. 31, 2020, eligible Venture and Spark cardholders can also redeem their miles at a value of 1 cent per point toward restaurant delivery and takeout (including DoorDash, Uber Eats and Postmates orders, or orders made directly through restaurants). Given this new Uber Eats offer, that means Venture customers could earn extra miles when they order delivery through Uber Eats, and then later offset the cost by redeeming miles toward the purchase.

Also through Dec. 31, Capital One's Savor cards will earn bonus rewards on eligible streaming services.
