At NerdWallet, we strive to help you make financial decisions with confidence. To do this, many or all of the products featured here are from our partners. However, this doesn’t influence our evaluations. Our opinions are our own.

Sprint offers one data option for families — unlimited data — but you’ll still have some choices. The carrier offers four versions of its unlimited plan (Kickstart, Basic, Plus and Premium) that you can mix and match to add mobile hot spot data or HD video streaming to some lines, rather than all lines. Sprint is hoping to merge with T-Mobile, but the agreement still has several hurdles to clear. Until then, it’s business as usual for Sprint customers.

Sprint’s family cell phone plan

You can have up to five lines on a family plan and save $5 per line when you opt for automatic payments. Promotions may knock the price down even more, but only for the first year.

You can mix and match unlimited plans to fit your family’s needs. For example, one line could have Unlimited Premium while the rest have the Unlimited Basic. Total pricing will vary depending on the tiers you select.
