The $0-annual-fee Choice Privileges® Mastercard® is enhancing its sign-up offer for new cardholders for a limited time. Through Sept. 8, 2026, new cardholders will be eligible to earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 in the first three months of opening the account.
NerdWallet values Choice Privileges points at an average of 0.8 cent each, which makes this new offer worth about $480.
Previously, the card earned 40,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 in purchases in the first three months of opening the account.
Holders of the Choice Privileges® Mastercard® will also earn ongoing rewards and other incentives, including:
- 5 points per dollar spent on stays at participating Choice Hotels.
- 3 points per dollar spent on purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, home improvement stores and phone plans.
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases.
- 10 elite night credits per calendar year.
- Automatic Gold elite membership in the Choice Privileges program.
As part of this promotion, new and existing cardholders who have the Choice Privileges® Mastercard® or the Choice Privileges® Select Mastercard® will also be entered for a chance to win more points, including up to 1,000,000 Choice Privileges points, through the cards’ summer sweepstakes that’s launching on June 1, 2026. Each purchase made with the card earns an entry.
