With the hotel's location next to the Magic Kingdom and its ornately decorated rooms, you won’t be missing out on much when you stay. But what if you want something even fancier? 1. There are actually two clubs
The Grand Floridian has multiple buildings for guests, including the option to book apartment-sized villas. It also features two club levels depending on where you’re staying. In the main building, you’ll find the Royal Palm, a lounge that spans three floors and overlooks the hotel lobby. This is probably the one you’re picturing when envisioning the Club Level at the Grand Floridian.
The other lounge is in the Sugarloaf building nearby. It features the same amenities as the Royal Palm but lacks the open spaces and ambiance you’ll find in the main building.
Prices for both options vary, but in general, you can expect to find slightly cheaper rates for the Grand Floridian Club Level rooms at the Sugarloaf building.
It’s not a huge difference — especially when you’re already paying more than $1,000 per night — but the Sugarloaf building can be as much as $100 per night less.

2. It includes private concierge service
If you have a premium travel credit card, you may already be familiar with the concept of a concierge, whose sole purpose is making your life easier. Club Level access at the Grand Floridian includes concierge service specifically for club guests.
The concierge can help you with a variety of things, including making dining reservations, arranging park tickets, finding child care and helping you with other recreational activities. And the concierge can usually answer any questions you have about the hotel and parks.
Note that using the concierge is free, though you’ll still be on the hook for costs associated with your activities.

3. There’s an exclusive lounge
Perhaps the biggest benefit of booking a Club Level room is the lounge access it provides. Available only to those who have booked Disney World Grand Floridian Club Level rooms, here you’ll find most of your amenities, including the concierge, dedicated seating and plenty of games.
The lounge is also where you’ll be able to take advantage of complimentary food and drink offerings throughout the day.

4. There’s a private check-in line
Disney does a lot of things well. It’s top notch when it comes to rides, attractions, crowd management and making things feel magical. You know what doesn’t feel magical? Huge, snaking lines in its hotel lobbies at 3 p.m. and 11 a.m. when room turnover occurs. Because Disney doesn’t offer elite status and a late checkout isn’t guaranteed, odds are that you’ll be trapped in a line, too.
Unless you’ve booked into a Club Level room, that is. Guests with Disney Grand Floridian Club Level access are able to use their own private check-in. This can save a lot of time and minimize the annoyance of standing in a long queue. After all, who comes to Disney to wait in line?
5. Food and alcohol are included
One of the most popular amenities at the Club Level at the Disney Grand Floridian is that the lounge provides food and drinks — including alcoholic beverages — nearly all day. If you’ve ever been on a Disney vacation, you know how costly meals can be within the resort, so receiving unlimited access for you and your family can help save a ton of money.
There are specific hours during which refreshments are served:
- Our Grand Beginnings: 7 to 10:30 a.m.
- Mid-Day Delights: 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Afternoon Tea: 2:30 to 4 p.m.
- Twilight Refreshers: 5 to 7 p.m.
- Grand Indulgence: 8 to 10 p.m.

6. It grants health club access
Whether you’re looking for a break from the crowds or simply want to recharge before heading back to the parks, you may want to take advantage of the Grand Floridian Club Level amenities, which include access to the spa’s health club.
Most guests get access to this only if they’ve booked a same-day spa treatment, but Club Level guests can use it at any time. Inside the health club, you can enjoy a relaxation room and steam room, among other amenities.
7. It’s the most expensive room type
The Grand Floridian is already an exclusive hotel, with room rates running upward of $700 per night. That price is pretty steep, but Disney World isn’t exactly known for its discounts.
However, things get substantially more costly when you book a Club Level room. This was as true for the Grand Floridian Club Level in 2022 as it is now. The most expensive rooms at Disney’s most expensive hotel will never be cheap.
You’ll receive quite a few amenities when booking this type of room, but you’ll want to weigh the increased cost against the benefits you’ll receive to decide whether it’s the right option for you.
