The cheap flights to Europe show no signs of stopping. After seeing some incredibly low prices this summer, we found more deals for early 2020 travel. If you don’t mind the cold weather, this can be a more affordable and less hectic time to visit Europe. These fares were still available when we checked prior to publication, but you’ll want to book fast before they sell out.
New York to Barcelona starting at $220 round-trip
American Airlines is offering some nonstop round-trip flights to Barcelona from New York for as little as $220 on select dates in January and February. That’s almost $150 cheaper than similar flights at that time of year, according to Google Flights.
Miami to Paris starting at $243 round-trip
These Miami to Paris flights are basically half-price right now. You could save about $235 on your flight to France on American. There’s a lot of availability between January and March 2020 for this route.
Boston to Paris starting at $252 round-trip
Bostonians can piggyback on some of these savings to see the City of Light too by making a quick stopover. Air Canada is offering flights starting at $252 round-trip.
These flights involve a three-hour layover in Montreal, which could be worth it to save almost $90 compared to Google Flight’s average prices on your plane ticket. There’s availability for mostly Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday flights from January to March 2020.
Seattle to London starting at $427 round-trip
West Coast residents aren’t left out of these Europe deals, either. On a round-trip flight to London with Virgin Atlantic, you could save more than $150 compared to normal prices on Google Flights.
Some of the routes are nonstop, while others have a short layover. Plus, these deals are for travel in the spring, when the weather's better. Look for availability in April or May 2020.
The bottom line
Flights to Europe have been less expensive than normal recently, making now a great time to finally go on that backpacking trip or sightseeing extravaganza you’ve always dreamed of. One driver of these prices may be an increased number of flights; Delta and Virgin Atlantic announced they’re adding flights to London and Manchester next summer, for example. Regardless, these deals might not stick around for long, so book as soon as you can.
