By joining Tafer Rewards, you can book a room for $410 or get the all-inclusive rate for $554, which can significantly reduce the overall costs by including all of your food and beverage expenses. You can also redeem Choice Privileges points to stay at a Preferred Hotels property. Cardholders who earn American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles or Citi ThankYou points can transfer their points to Choice.

2. Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort is as family-friendly as it gets. Stays come with a cooked-to-order breakfast and evening happy hour with snacks and cocktails.
All rooms here are two-room suites with a small kitchenette, a living room with a sofa bed and a furnished balcony. You won't have to pay for breakfast or book an extra room for the kids, and the resort has a lovely pool and tunnel for direct beach access. With all of these inclusions, the starting $409 nightly rates can be a good deal. You can also book with Hilton rewards, but at 181,000 points per night, it's a low-value redemption.

3. Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Jamaica

Hyatt Ziva is a family-focused brand within World of Hyatt’s all-inclusive collection. Kids can splash in the numerous pools and water play areas or at the sandy beach. When the sun sets, the number of dining options is vast, including popular choices like Italian, French, Jamaican barbecue and Asian fusion.
World of Hyatt members can score an all-inclusive deal for the whole family (with food and beverages covered) for as low as $367 per night. Award stays start at 35,000 points per night.

4. Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets, Mexico

Another resort that belongs to the World of Hyatt all-inclusive brand portfolio, Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets offers dramatic views from its expansive hotel suites plus an infinity pool. It also features a waterslide and a swim-up bar, as well as incredible dining options that do not cost anything extra. Another popular activity is snorkeling along the world’s second-largest coral reef.
Guests can also scuba dive past sunken sculptures from the Cancun Underwater Museum of Art. While the starting rate for World of Hyatt members is a lofty $1,087, the quality and seclusion of this upscale all-inclusive, all-suite resort outmatch almost all others in the region. Award stays start at 42,000 points per night.

5. InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa

Dominica is one of the most lush islands in the Caribbean and offers plenty to do for those who enjoy the outdoors. The enormous swimming pools here face the ocean, and there's a swim-up bar.
The hotel is part of IHG One Rewards, which means guests can earn or redeem valuable points when they visit. If you have an IHG credit card that you use to pay for the stay, you could earn even more points to use on your next vacation. IHG One Rewards members can book a night starting at $421, or 77,000 points.

6. Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana

(Photo courtesy of Hard Rock Hotels)
Pack your swimsuit and sign up for Hard Rock’s new loyalty program to take advantage of its redemptions and perks. Plus, this resort is all-inclusive (well, except for the casino and spa), and guests can eat and drink as much as they like. Even the gratuities are included.
If you are not interested in the Hard Rock loyalty program, consider making your reservation with a travel agent who can secure extra perks on your behalf or via an online travel agency such as Orbitz, where you can earn Orbucks in its loyalty program. The all-inclusive rate here packs in all kinds of extra perks and starts at $483.

7. Sandals Dunn’s River Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Sandals is famous for its all-inclusive resorts. This Sandals location has a dozen restaurants, and there is also a dine-around program in which guests can visit local restaurants to get a regional experience included in the cost.
Back at the resort, glamorous swimming pools and a sprawling beach add to the fun. A minimum three-night stay is required here during the December dates we checked, with the rate below reflecting the cost of three nights. For all of the inclusions here, guests can eat, drink and play for less than $1,000 per night in paradise.

8. Royalton CHIC Antigua

This adults-only all-inclusive resort is part of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. It means that travelers can earn or redeem points during their stay, packing in extra value during a vacation. This resort is part of Autograph Collection, one of Marriott’s many brands.
The resort has a stunning beachfront location, numerous pools and tasty dining. With all food and beverages included, the $685 nightly rate for two people can be a good value. If you paid with rewards, it would be 88,000 points.

9. Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino

The Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino is adjacent to the convention center as well as Distrito T-Mobile, a popular shopping center with restaurants, shops and a cinema. Instead of a traditional beachfront resort, this property tends to have lower rates than others because of its location. But its infinity pool, casino and shuttle to the beach add value. The starting rate for Marriott Bonvoy members is $367 per night, or 35,000 points.
