Best Western Rewards is a valuable loyalty program covering about 4,700 hotels across 18 brands in 100 countries and territories. Familiar brands in the program like its signature Best Western and upmarket Best Western Premier are popular, but newer brands like design-focused GLo and upscale, trendy Aiden are exciting options for point redemptions, too.
Best Western Rewards does not have an award chart, so the points rate varies depending upon the night. The only way to determine how many points you would need is by checking your preferred dates for a reservation. There are lots of methods for earning Best Western Rewards points: You could stay at Best Western hotels, earn bonus points as an elite member, or use a credit card like the Best Western Rewards® Mastercard® or the Best Western Rewards® Premium Mastercard®.
Domestic road trips are taking center stage for many Americans this summer, and we can also dream now about what big trips we want to take when it’s feasible to go overseas again. Cautious travel will keep everyone safe, and earning and burning points will keep our wallets happy.
Whether you are looking for a staycation near home or plan to drive or (someday) fly to your destination, these recent additions to the Best Western Rewards portfolio are worth a look.
But first, summer promotions
The program runs regular promotions, too. This summer, Best Western Rewards is awarding members with a $25 hotel gift card after making one stay at a Best Western-branded hotel in the United States, Canada or the Caribbean by Sept. 7. Registration is required before the stay.
There’s another summer promotion to encourage road trips. Travelers who email a fuel or electric car charging receipt for at least $10 can also earn a $25 gift card to use later this year. Guests simply need to save the fuel receipt from during their stay at a Best Western-branded hotel in the United States, Canada or the Caribbean between now and the end of August. They can email it to Best Western along with the hotel receipt to receive the gift card.
