Working from home has its challenges: Kids swirling around, an ever-growing list of chores and other interruptions can make concentrating difficult. With children doing virtual learning, the kitchen-table study-hall can become a site of extreme frustration, too.
Hyatt Hotels has a solution: Work from Hyatt packages, which offer a much-needed change of scenery for remote workers, families with remote learners or anyone looking for an escape. Through March 31, 2021, you can book a work- or learn-from-home package at nearly 90 hotels in the U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico and Canada. These Work from Hyatt offers include expanded in-room workspace in the form of a suite living room, a connecting room or meeting room, plus a food and beverage credit. Some hotels are even throwing in free or discounted parking, laundry and wireless internet.
World of Hyatt members can redeem points for these packages, but must book by the end of the year via phone (cash stays can be booked online). The number of points you’ll need depends on the hotel category — cash rates start at $139 per night but vary depending on the property and dates. Either way, reservations must include offer code WFHYAT to get the Work from Hyatt package.
The most popular destinations for these packages so far have been Southern California, Florida and Los Cabos in Mexico. But you can Work from Hyatt in Vail, Colorado; Cedar Creek, Texas; Nassau, Bahamas; and lots of other exciting destinations. Here, grouped by time zone, are some of our favorites that double as sweet spot redemptions.

Bonus: World of Hyatt membership level considerations
The food and beverage credit that comes with these packages may not be a big draw for Globalist-level World of Hyatt members because the credits may apply only to breakfast, which is already a perk of Globalist status. Globalists will also be underwhelmed by the free parking and waived resort fees that come with these packages, since Globalists already get those perks, too. However, for lower-level elites or non-Hyatt members, these special Work from Hyatt perks can be a nice upgrade to your stay whether paying in points or cash.
If you pay cash, you can earn points and enjoy generous promotions for World of Hyatt members. These might include double points for travel through the end of 2020 at eligible hotels, 500 bonus points for staying at select new hotels and Hyatt’s popular offer to earn a free night after staying at five different World of Hyatt brands. Elite World of Hyatt members who have linked their American Airlines and World of Hyatt accounts can earn AAdvantage miles for a paid stay, too.
