Tax Day is here, and businesses are turning the notorious day into something fun.
Whether you’re getting a refund or making a payment, there’s one thing we all have in common this April 15: There are lots of things we can get for cheap (or for free).
We rounded up 11 sales, deals and freebie offerings.
- Bear Mattress: The mattress website has a Tax Day Sale going on now. Shop 35% off sitewide using the code “TAXDAY.”
- Corner Bakery Cafe: Through April 15, the cafe is offering 15% off catering orders.
- Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: On April 14 and 15, the restaurant is giving customers $10 off online orders of $50 or more with code “WRITEOFF.”
- Great American Cookies: Rewards members can buy one chocolate chip cookie cake slice and get another free in-store at participating locations April 15.
- Grubhub: Customers who placed a Grubhub food delivery order in 2025 can upload their receipt to GrubhubFeeReturn.com for a chance to win $20 in Grubhub credit. You must enter by April 15.
- Kona Ice: The shaved ice company rebranded Tax Day as Chill Out Day. Find a participating Kona truck near you April 15 to get a free Kona Ice treat.
- Krispy Kreme: On April 15, customers with a sweet tooth can get a free Original Glazed dozen with purchase of any dozen donuts at regular price.
- Paris Baguette: Rewards members can get a free pastry with any beverage purchase on Tax Day.
- Qdoba: Through April 15, rewards members can take a survey to unlock a $5 reward to use on any full-size entree purchase.
- Sonny’s BBQ: Only on Tax Day, customers can choose between two St. Louis Rib Dinners for a discounted price of $10.99.
- Wayfair: The online giant’s Tax Refund Sale is happening now with up to 70% off in select categories.
Check each business for full redemption details, participating locations and any exclusions. Other businesses might be offering free stuff, too. Keep an eye out for deals on social media on Wednesday.
