The Omni Hotels & Resorts loyalty program, called the Omni Select Guest program, rewards travelers with Omni Credits. These credits can be used to redeem for free nights at any Omni Hotel or Resort, which are luxury hotels throughout the U.S. and select locations in Canada and Mexico.
Omni's hotels are typically located in urban centers, resort destinations and historic landmarks, such as the Omni Parker House in Boston or the Omni Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire. Another standout is the Omni Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio, widely praised for its riverside location, elegant spa offerings and rooftop pool — a great example of how the brand blends luxury with authentic local flavor.

While the Omni chain lacks the global reach of chains like Marriott or Hilton, Omni appeals to travelers seeking four- and five-star accommodations with a boutique feel.
Here's your guide to earning and redeeming Omni Credits, the program's elite status perks, plus some insider strategies so you can decide whether it’s worth your loyalty.

How to earn Omni Credits
Earnings through Omni Select guest are based on a combination of both actual hotel stays, as well as other on-property spending including dining, spa visits and even valet parking or golf.
Omni Credits are the currency of the program, earned as follows:
Per room night (Member & Insider):5 credits.
Per room night (Champion & Icon): 10 credits.
Per $100 of eligible purchases beyond the room: 1 credit (2 for Icon tier).
Spending on extras like a spa day are a quick way to boost your Tier Dollars. (Photo by Sally French)
Qualifying spend includes:
Room rates booked directly with Omni.
Charges from restaurants, bars, spas, golf, valet and select retail.
Meetings and events charged to your room.
Note that certain costs like taxes, fees, gratuities, third-party bookings (e.g. Expedia) and unpaid charges do not earn credits or Tier Dollars.
🤓Nerdy Tip
Peep that $100 threshold rule. For better or for worse, only each full $100 in non-room charges earns credit. So what if you spend $199? You’ll only earn 1 credit. Yet if you spend $201? That’s 2 credits.
Omni Select Guest elite status tiers
Omni's Select Guest loyalty program has four tiers of status: Member, Insider, Champion and Icon. Status is earned by qualifying spending with the brand and can be unlocked at $1,000, $4,000 and $8,000 spend levels, or "Tier Dollars." Tier Dollars include most charges to the room except taxes, gratuities and fees.
Note that Tier Dollars reset each calendar year, so time your big-spend stays wisely.
Member
General members receive these benefits:
Free deluxe Wi-Fi.
Free bottled water and a welcome drink upon arrival.
Earn 5 Omni Credits per room night.
Earn 1 Omni Credit per $100 of other hotel purchases.
Insider
Once you spend at least $1,000 in Tier Dollars within the calendar year, you advance to tier 2, the Insider level.
Earn 1 Omni Credit per $100 of other hotel purchases.
Free deluxe Wi-Fi and bottled water upon arrival.
Daily beverages comped by the hotel.
Two complimentary clothing items pressed or two shoeshines during the stay.
Champion
After you spend $4,000 in Tier Dollars within the calendar year, you will level up to Champion status. This tier is something of a sweet spot, as you now unlock 10 credits per night. That's double what lower tiers earn, plus you get more meaningful benefits like upgrades and late checkout.

Once you earn 100 Omni Credits (or 20 stays at the lower two status levels), you can redeem them for a night’s stay.
There are no complex award charts or dynamic pricing for your award redemptions, and Omni Credits are valid for 36 months from the date of earning.
Resort fees are waived on redemption nights. Unfortunately, the program does have blackout dates during which Omni Credits cannot be used for awards. These dates are listed on the program’s website.
With that, there are some solid ways to maximize your Omni redemptions:
Book high-value properties: All properties cost the same (100 credits/night), so skip the budget airport Omni and save your credits for aspirational spots like the Omni Mount Washington (NH) or Omni Rancho Las Palmas (Palm Springs) during peak season.
Holiday timing matters: Blackout dates do exist, especially around major holidays. Always check individual hotel blackout calendars early in your planning.
Suite dreams: Only Icon members can redeem free nights for suites (subject to availability). If you’re not Icon, book a stay and ask for a paid upgrade — it may be cheaper than burning credits elsewhere.
The best deals at Omni Hotels & Resorts right now
Omni Hotels & Resorts is rolling out several compelling holiday promotions that can stretch your dollar further while accelerating your path to elite status. Here's how to maximize these limited-time offers:
Magical Memories
Save up to 20% on seasonal getaways plus receive a $25 food and beverage credit per stay. This offer is perfect for maximizing your Tier Dollar spend since F&B charges count toward status qualification.
Early booking bonus: Guests who book by October 19, 2025 will earn 2x Omni Select Guest Rewards points per room night — that means 10 credits per night even at Member/Insider levels, or 20 credits per night at Champion/Icon tiers.
Booking window: Now through January 4, 2026.
Stay dates: November 14, 2025 through February 28, 2026.
Pro tip: Use that $25 F&B credit strategically. Charge everything to your room to accumulate Tier Dollars faster.
Santa's Landing
Families can make the holidays extra special with rooms dubbed "Santa's Landing." These are themed suites, available at select Omni hotels including Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, Omni Parker House and Omni San Diego Hotel. Each suite is decorated with Christmas trees, festive blankets and pillows, cookies for children, and more magical touches.
The package includes:
Decorated Santa Suite accommodations
Up to 20% off (discount varies by hotel)
$100 hotel or resort credit
One-night minimum stay required
Booking window: Now through January 4, 2026
Stay dates: November 14, 2025 through January 4, 2026
Maximization strategy: That $100 resort credit is huge for accelerating Tier Dollar accumulation. Use it on spa treatments, dining experiences, or golf — all of which count toward elite status when charged to your room.
Bright Lights, Big Savings (Cyber Sale)
This is Omni's biggest savings opportunity of the season. Save 30% on stays of two nights or more, with a special early-access perk for loyalty members.
Select Guest member early access:
Dates: November 12-18, 2025
Bonus: Earn 3x Omni Credits per room night during the early access window
At Member/Insider tiers: 15 credits per night (instead of 5)
At Champion/Icon tiers: 30 credits per night (instead of 10)
Public sale:
Dates: November 19 - December 3, 2025
Stay window: November 26, 2025 through May 26, 2026
Elite status hack: If you're close to a tier threshold, this is your golden opportunity. Book multiple nights during early access at 3x credits, and you'll race toward that next status level while saving 30%. A 3-night stay at Champion level would earn you 90 credits — nearly enough for a free night redemption.
Nationwide Holiday Programming

Beyond these booking promotions, Omni properties are embracing the season with festive experiences:
Tree-lighting celebrations at properties nationwide.
Annual hot chocolate ritual — a beloved Omni tradition.
Festive Signature Experiences unique to each property.
Blitzen's Bar — A holiday pop-up curated by renowned mixologist Julie Reiner, featuring festive cocktails and non-alcoholic options at 27 Omni locations.
How to hack the Omni Select Guest loyalty program
Omni Select Guest is a quietly generous program — if you know how to work it. With fixed-rate redemptions and spend-based perks, it’s ideal for business travelers or leisure guests who favor boutique, U.S.-based luxury.
To truly benefit:
Use your credit card spend to accelerate tier progression.
Don’t waste credits on lower-end properties.
Monitor blackout dates early and plan high-impact redemptions.
Here are some additional pro-tips to maximize your stays.
1. Maximize short stays with high spend
Weekend getaway with spa, valet and fine dining? That’s an elite-status jackpot if charged to your room.
2. Pair with a hotel credit card
Omni lacks a co-branded credit card, but high-earning, premium travel cards can offset costs via:
Not every Omni offers a luxurious experience. Some urban or airport locations are underwhelming—don’t redeem 100 credits there. Instead, target redemptions during high-demand events (e.g. a holiday in Austin or a ski weekend in Bretton Woods).
4. Stack holiday promotions with high spend
The current holiday offers are perfect for elite status acceleration. Consider this strategy:
Book during the Cyber Sale early access window (November 12-18) for 3x credits
Choose a property with strong spa/dining options
Use the Magical Memories or Santa's Landing resort credits on spa treatments and meals charged to your room
Every $100 in spa/dining spend = additional Tier Dollars toward status
Example: A 3-night Champion-level stay during Cyber Sale early access with $300 in additional charges:
Room nights: 90 credits (30 per night at 3x rate)
Additional spend: 3 credits
Total: 93 credits — almost enough for a free night, while also accumulating $300+ in Tier Dollars toward your next status level
