Cons

Zions Bank is a fairly large bank with a regional bank mentality.  This means their credit card offerings are more consumer-friendly than you’d expect from a bigger bank.

The Visa Signature is a great card if you have excellent credit and you carry a balance or want to transfer a balance over from another card.  Like the other Zions Bank cards, its 2% transfer fee is lower than the 2.5-3.0% fee that most cards charge, and the ongoing APR ranks very well against the hundreds of other cards we evaluate.  Plus there’s no annual fee.

On top of this, the Visa Signature carries the same 1% cash back reward rate as their other cards, and Zions will deposit the cash directly into your account as soon as you’ve earned $50 in rewards.  While we here at NerdWallet don’t consider 1% to be especially high, you usually end up paying for those rewards with a higher APR or annual fee.  But at Zions Bank, that’s not the case.  You can have your cake and eat it too.
