Chase Marriott, Ritz-Carlton Cards to Earn 10X Back on Dining, Gas (Limited Time)

Marriott and Ritz-Carlton cardholders might not be earning many rewards on travel this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But for a limited time, many of them may be able to make some of that up in dining and gas purchases.
Chase, which issues multiple Marriott Bonvoy and Ritz-Carlton cards, is temporarily altering rewards structures for eligible cardholders. From July 15 through Sept. 15, 2020, the following cards will earn 10 points per $1 spent on up to $3,500 in purchases at restaurants and gas stations combined.
The Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business Credit Card.
The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card.
The Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card.
The Marriott Bonvoy Premier Credit Card.
The Marriott Bonvoy Business Credit Card.
The restaurant category also extends to food delivery services like Grubhub and DoorDash. Cardholders must opt in to qualify by Sept. 15, 2020. The cards' other ongoing rewards remain unchanged.
This new offering is in addition to the 6 points per $1 spent on groceries that eligible Marriott Bonvoy cardholders can earn through July 31, 2020, on up to $5,000 in purchases, a limited-time offer announced in May.
