Other picks: Best hotel business credit cards

The following business credit cards are not available through NerdWallet. Before applying, confirm card details on the issuer's website.

Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Credit Card

Our pick for: Low-fee hotel business card
NerdWallet rating: 3.5
The Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Credit Card doesn't quite stack up versus our other picks in terms of welcome offer or ongoing rewards. However, it does charge a lower fee ($95) than the other business hotel cards on this list and comes with automatic Wyndham Rewards Diamond status (which includes perks like suite upgrades and late checkout). Considering Wyndham's wide selection of hotels — more than 9,000 across its portfolio — this card still provides solid utility. Learn more.

Hotel business cards vs. business travel cards

Hotel business cards offer some eye-popping rewards rates — as much as 10 to 12 points per dollar — with added points for holding elite status with the brand (another perk included with hotel cards). But the biggest rewards, and best value for redemption, are within that specific hotel brand’s network of properties.
A general business travel card, on the other hand, typically earns bonus points on all travel, as well as restaurants, gas and other business expenses. You won’t earn 10x points, but you will have the flexibility to redeem your points on any travel expense — flights, rental cars, hotels, etc. — and can often transfer points to airline and hotel partners.

Should you get a hotel business credit card?

If you have the freedom to pick and choose which hotel you stay at on business travel, a branded hotel business card can pay off in a big way. But if you want or need more flexibility, a business travel card is often the best choice.
Alternatively, you can also carry both a hotel card and a travel card in your business wallet. Use your branded card for hotel stays and your general travel card for all other expenses to maximize your rewards and redemption options.
🤓
Nerdy Tip
Compare business hotel cards to personal hotel credit cards. You may find a lower annual fee or a higher sign-up bonus. Consumer cards will lack business features like free employee cards, though, and have bonus categories aligned with personal spending rather than business spending.

Methodology

NerdWallet's writers and editors monitor more than 70 business credit cards to select the best options without outside input from partners or other business interests. We evaluate business cards based on value and simplicity, weighing fees, sign-up bonuses and reward rates, alongside perks like interest-free periods, statement credits and elite status (for travel cards).
We consider more than 20 data points for each card we score, including detailed information about rewards, credits and fees. We gather this information from rates and fees documents, deposit account agreements, financial institution websites and company representatives.
Our editorial team regularly reviews and updates our data to ensure consistency and accuracy. We also update our scoring on an ongoing basis to reflect changing industry norms and business owner needs. For instance, in 2026, we added a small deduction for cards that don’t allow users to issue virtual cards and removed the small increase for cards with no preset spending limit.
Final star ratings range from one to five stars. A five-star score represents the best available product for the largest number of business owners. Learn how NerdWallet rates small-business credit cards.
