As of May 30, the card has a more generous introductory offer for new cardholders: Earn 40,000 bonus miles after you spend $1,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 3 months. Terms Apply.

Previously, new cardholders earned 30,000 bonus miles after spending $1,000 in purchases during the first three months of opening an account. With the change, cardholders can get double the miles, but they will have to spend an extra $1,000 to earn them. The terms for the $50 statement credit remain the same.

For those who fly Delta frequently, the new incentive can help fund your next trip. And if your lifestyle requires you to spend enough on travel, you can potentially make up the cost of the card's annual fee: $0 intro for the first year, then $99. The card features the following rewards and perks:

  • Earn 2X miles on eligible purchases made directly with Delta.

  • Earn 1X mile on all other eligible purchases.

  • Priority boarding.

  • A free checked bag.

  • 20% in-flight savings in the form of a statement credit when you make qualifying purchases.

  • A discounted rate for access to Delta Sky Club airport lounges.

  • Terms apply.
