$25 off at Avis
The Red Hot Summer Sale at Avis Car Rental runs through Aug. 31, 2019. Customers who spend $175 or more on their base car rental (excluding taxes and fees) will receive $25 off using code MUWA148. The rental needs to begin by Dec. 31, 2019, to be eligible.
Up to 35% off and free upgrade at Budget
Travelers can save up to 35% on base rental rates with Budget when they pay upfront. The Summer Sales Event also includes a free upgrade of one car class for intermediate to full-size four-door cars. Use code UUWZ042 when booking through the first week of September. Like the Avis deal, your car rental must begin by Dec. 13, 2019, to qualify.
$20 off at National
Customers can get $20 off either the weekend base rate or weekly base rate with one of the current promotions at National Car Rental. The weekend rate discount is good for any rental between three and five days of a compact through full-size car, minivan, SUV or convertible. Your rental must include Saturday night.
For the weekly rate savings, travelers can rent economy through full-size cars for anywhere between five and 28 days (must include a Saturday night). Both deals require the car to be returned by Oct. 31, 2019.
Up to 15% off at Thrifty
Guests who prepay for their rental car at Thrifty can save up to 15% by using “pay now” rates vs. “pay later” prices. There are almost no restrictions on this deal — you can use it for all car classes (except Wild Car) and can book a daily, weekend or weekly car rental. Just look for the “pay now” rates when you reserve; there’s no coupon code. This discount is valid through Oct. 18, 2019.
