sports scholarships for non-athletes

Let’s face it, very few students enjoy a free ride to college to play varsity sports. Yet there are still lots of sports-oriented scholarships that do not rely on pure athletic ability. Take a look at our list of sports scholarships for non-athletes. We found the top scholarships in areas including sports journalism, sports medicine and physical education and assembled a quick list of resources. Some are specific to school or region, but others are open to students throughout the U.S. Although this list is a good starting point for scholarship seekers, you should contact your school for opportunities more directly linked to your studies and locale.
