The Credit One Bank Omni Rewards American Express Card stands out on a number of fronts: It earns unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases, offers redemption flexibility for that cash back, and features a lucrative welcome bonus — all with no annual fee or foreign transaction fee.
The card is issued by Credit One Bank but runs on the American Express payment network, which means cardholders also get access to some valuable AmEx perks.
Notably, the card lacks a 0% intro APR period that similar rewards cards on the market offer. Plus, as with many of those other options, you’ll need excellent credit to get this card.
Here’s what to know about the Credit One Bank Omni Rewards card.
1. It boasts a simple but lucrative cash-back rate
The Credit One Bank Omni card earns an unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases. That puts it on par with some of the best cash-back credit cards on the market, and it's ideal for those who want valuable, straightforward rewards without having to juggle bonus categories.
However, unlike many of those best-in-market options, the Omni card lacks an intro APR period. If you’re after a card that can offer a break from interest, consider the Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card. It’s a $0-annual-fee card that earns an unlimited and uncapped 2% back on eligible purchases. Plus, it features a 0% intro APR for 12 months from account opening on purchases and qualifying balance transfers, and then the ongoing APR of 18.49%, 24.49%, or 28.49% Variable APR.
2. It offers redemption flexibility
With the Omni card, you can choose to redeem your rewards automatically or manually. Here’s how each option works:
- Automatic redemption: This option allows cardholders to redeem their rewards automatically for statement credit only. Any cash back you earn will automatically be applied to your account as statement credit every month. For those seeking simplicity, this is about as easy as it gets.
- Manual redemption: When you redeem this way, you’ll have the option to redeem your cash back for statement credits, gift cards or merchandise. It requires a little more legwork, but unlike automatic redemption, this option lets you save up your rewards and redeem them on your own timetable.
Note that by default, accounts are set to manual redemption. However, you can switch between redemption options through your online account at CreditOneBank.com or via the Credit One mobile app.
🤓 Nerdy Tip
The Omni Rewards American Express Card has a minimum credit line of $10,000. Credit One notes that cardholders are eligible for credit line increases, based on their overall credit performance with the card. 3. There's a rich welcome bonus
New Omni cardholders are eligible to earn $200 in cash back when they spend $1,000 in the first six months from account opening. This bonus is comparable to what the best 2% cash-back cards offer. In fact, a number of such cards don't come with welcome bonuses at all.
4. It'll be expensive to carry a balance
At the time of this writing, the Omni card charged an interest rate of nearly 30%. High APRs are common among rewards credit cards, but just for comparison, the average APR on credit cards that assessed interest was 21.52% as of February 2026, according to data from the Federal Reserve.
Because of this, it's best to avoid carrying a balance on the card if possible.
5. You'll get access to American Express benefits
The Omni card runs on the American Express payment network, which means cardholders have access to useful perks, including the following:
- Early access to tickets for events and experiences through Amex Presale Tickets and Amex Reserved Tickets.
- Travel perks like discounts on flights, hotels and car rentals, as well as accident insurance.
- Rewards or rebates through AmEx Offers. Enrollment required.
- Terms apply.
