So how do we make money? Our partners compensate us for advertisements that
appear on our site. This compensation helps us provide tools and services -
like free credit score access and monitoring. With the exception of
mortgage, home equity and other home-lending products or services, partner
compensation is one of several factors that may affect which products we
highlight and where they appear on our site. Other factors include your
credit profile, product availability and proprietary website methodologies.
However, these factors do not influence our editors' opinions or ratings, which are based on independent research and analysis. Our partners cannot

Citizens Bank is refreshing its credit card portfolio with five new personal credit cards, ranging from a credit builder option to a premium travel card. The new cards will effectively replace Citizens Bank’s older suite of cards, which are no longer open to applicants starting June 12, 2025.
These cards will likely appeal most to current Citizens Bank members. For example, the annual fee on the travel card can be reduced or completely waived depending on how much money you keep with the bank. And indeed, one of the cards is available only to the issuer's Private Bank members. For everyone else, though, the new Citizens Bank credit cards probably won’t be the first option, as branches are located in just 14 states and D.C. (as of this writing).
Here are key details of the new credit cards.
