Several Delta Air Lines credit cards are boosting their bonus offers for a limited time.
Starting Sept. 5, 2025, new applicants are eligible for the following:
  • Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card: Earn 80,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $3,000 in eligible purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer Ends 10/29/2025. Terms Apply. This is 30,000 more miles than the card’s previous offer.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card: Earn 90,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $4,000 in eligible purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer Ends 10/29/2025. Terms Apply. This, too, is 30,000 more miles than the previous bonus.
  • Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card: Earn 125,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $6,000 in eligible purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer Ends 10/29/2025. Terms Apply. This is 55,000 more miles than the card’s previous welcome offer.
NerdWallet values Delta SkyMiles at 1.2 cents each. This is a baseline value, drawn from real-world data on hundreds of economy routes, not a maximized value.
With all these Delta co-branded cards that carry an annual fee, you'll get a 15% discount off award prices when booking a Delta-operated flight on Delta's website or app. That effectively makes your miles more valuable than if you didn't have a Delta card. The 15% discount doesn't apply to partner flights or taxes and fees, though.
Apart from the new bonuses, other terms and ongoing benefits of the cards remain the same.
