Managing Editor Starting March 12, 2026, three cards in the Marriott Bonvoy family are featuring new welcome offers for a limited time. New applicants for the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card, the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy® American Express® Card and the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card will be eligible for the following, respectively:
- Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card: Earn 3 Free Night Awards (each valued up to 50,000 points) after spending $3,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months of account opening, and 1 additional Free Night Award (valued up to 50,000 points) after spending $4,000 total on eligible purchases within 4 months of account opening. Certain hotels have resort fees. Previously, the card offered five Free Night Awards after spending $3,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months of account opening.
- Marriott Bonvoy Bevy® American Express® Card: Earn 175,000 Marriott Bonvoy® bonus points after you use your new Card to make $5,000 in purchases within the first 6 months of Card Membership. Terms Apply. Previously, the card offered 85,000 bonus points for the same level of spending in the same time frame.
- Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card: Earn 200,000 Marriott Bonvoy® bonus points after you use your new Card to make $6,000 in purchases within the first 6 months of Card Membership. Terms Apply. Previously, the card offered 100,000 bonus points for the same level of spending in the same time frame. NerdWallet values Marriott points at 0.8 cent each, which means that the card’s new offer is worth around $1,600 when points are maximized. This, coupled with the card’s other benefits, can get holders an outsized value in their first year that more than covers the card’s $650 annual fee. Terms Apply.
Marriott points can be redeemed at Marriott hotels, for flights or car rentals, and for travel by transferring points to multiple airline partners, usually at a 3:1 ratio (for every 3 Bonvoy points, you'll get 1 airline mile).
In addition to the updated welcome bonus offers, Marriott Bonvoy members can now redeem or “top off” a Free night Award certificate with up to 25,000 points from their account. Previously, members could only combine up to 15,000 points with their certificates.
