It's understandable that a visit to Cathay Pacific lounges in Hong Kong is added to many points and miles enthusiasts' bucket lists — and this guide will illustrate why.

Cathay Pacific lounges in Hong Kong
There are four Cathay Pacific lounges at the Hong Kong International Airport, and they are divided into classes based on ticket type and elite status.
- The Wing (business class lounge and first class lounge).
- The Pier (business class lounge and first class lounge).
- The Deck.
- The Bridge.

First class lounges
If you have extra time and you’re eligible to visit the first class lounges, you might want to visit both the Wing and the Pier.
The Wing has incredibly luxurious cabanas for rest and relaxation, as well as private spaces to get work done. The Haven, the Wing’s exclusive restaurant, offers a la carte service as well as a traditional dim sum buffet and exclusive wine pairings. Also, don’t forget the champagne bar.
The first class lounge at the Pier has eight private suites with daybeds, plus all of the comforts required to get a good nap. You’ll also have access to massage services and private work areas.
Business class lounges
The Wing business lounge features a stunning seating area overlooking the tarmac, known as the Long Bar, where you can ask the bartender for your favorite cocktail or champagne and snack on the buffet. You also can head over to the Asian-inspired buffet area for a full meal.
The Pier has a similar area, but the views aren’t quite as good.
Each lounge has shower rooms and private workstations, so you really can’t go wrong.

Aside from The Wing, first class lounges are temporarily closed due to COVID-19.
The Wing, First and Business
- Location: Level 7, Terminal 1, near Gates 1 to 4.
- Hours: 5:30 a.m. daily through the last departure.
The Pier, First and Business
- Location: Level 6, Terminal 1, near Gate 63 and 65.
- Hours: 5:30-12:30 a.m.
The Deck
- Location: Level 7, Terminal 1, near Gate 6.
- Hours: 5:30-12:30 a.m.
The Bridge
- Location: Level 5, west concourse, near Gates 35 and 36, by the passenger train terminal.
- Hours: 5:30-12:30 a.m.
Who can access the lounges?
Admittance to the first class lounges (found at The Wing and The Pier) is available to first class passengers flying on Cathay Pacific or other Oneworld alliance first class flights, as well as to top-tier elite status holders for Cathay loyalty program members.

Oneworld Emerald members may access the lounges regardless of the class of ticket they are traveling on — an excellent perk for Oneworld elites. The business class lounges (found at The Wing, The Pier, The Deck and The Bridge) are open to business class passengers flying on Cathay Pacific or other Oneworld first class flights, as well as Cathay Gold members and Oneworld Sapphire members flying a Oneworld airline. Oneworld Sapphire members may access the lounges regardless of the class of ticket they are traveling on.
Cathay elite members may also earn Cathay Pacific lounge passes for themselves or to gift to friends and family members.
