We believe everyone should be able to make financial decisions with
confidence. While we don't cover every company or financial product on
the market, we work hard to share a wide range of offers and objective
editorial perspectives.
So how do we make money? Our partners compensate us for advertisements that
appear on our site. This compensation helps us provide tools and services -
like free credit score access and monitoring. With the exception of
mortgage, home equity and other home-lending products or services, partner
compensation is one of several factors that may affect which products we
highlight and where they appear on our site. Other factors include your
credit profile, product availability and proprietary website methodologies.
However, these factors do not influence our editors' opinions or ratings, which are based on independent research and analysis. Our partners cannot
pay us to guarantee favorable reviews. Here is a list of our partners.

Either of the Chase cards that get you lounge access will also get you a bunch of other travel benefits.

In recent months, Chase has been on a tear opening more of its own Sapphire Reserve Lounges. Its first lounge opened in Hong Kong in October 2022 — but it'll close on Jan. 5, 2026. But that hardly means Chase's own lounge network is shrinking. In fact, Chase has been rapidly expanding its network of lounges in the U.S.
How to get into Chase lounges
To access Chase airport lounges, you typically must hold a qualifying Chase card or have a Priority Pass membership.
Chase cards that provide the cardholder with unlimited Sapphire lounge visits include:
Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardholders can bring two free guests per visit. Each additional guest is $27. Ritz-Carlton cardholders can bring unlimited guests.
Pop-ups have their own rules, but typically they're open to Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardholders who, again, can bring two free guests per visit.
NerdWallet's ratings are determined by our editorial team. The scoring formula takes into account the type of card being reviewed (such as cash back, travel or balance transfer) and the card's rates, fees, rewards and other features.
8x Chase points per dollar spent on travel booked via Chase's travel portal.
The card also earns 3x points on dining at restaurants, including eligible delivery services, takeout and dining out; and 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases. It also offers a number of statement credits that can help further offset the annual fee.
Newcomers are enticed with a welcome offer: Earn 125,000 bonus points after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
Other ways to gain Chase airport lounge access
You don't need to hold a Chase card just to get into Chase airport lounges. In fact, other cards can get you into these lounges.
Use Priority Pass to get in
Unlike, say, AmEx Centurion Lounges, Chase Sapphire airport lounge access isn't restricted to just Chase cardholders. Like other The Club lounges, Chase Sapphire airport lounges are accessible to all Priority Pass members — with a limit.
Priority Pass members receive one complimentary visit to a Chase Sapphire Lounge once per calendar year. Subsequent visits for Priority Pass members and any additional guests cost $75 each.
Other lounges set to open in the future include Dallas (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX).
Lounges widely vary in size and in terms of what sorts of amenities are offered. The Phoenix lounge is beautiful and serves tasty food, but is quite small and offers not much more than some complimentary refreshments and a place to sit. Meanwhile, the massive Chase Sapphire Lounge LaGuardia includes a photo booth, arcade, children's room, nursing room, meditation pods and spa treatment rooms.

Chase Sapphire lounge locations in Asia
There's one Chase Sapphire Lounge in Asia, and it's in Hong Kong — but not for long. The lounge will close on Jan. 5, 2026.
You can still visit until then. The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is located in Terminal 1 of Hong Kong International Airport. You'll find it at Level 7 of the departures level of the West Hall, near Gate 40. But even if you're flying from the East Hall, you can still get there — as long as you're willing to ride the shuttle or take a 10 to 15 minute walk.
The lounge admits folks within three hours of their flight's scheduled departure time, and children under two are admitted free.
Pop-up lounges around the world

Chase lounges aren't limited to airports. To build hype, Chase periodically runs pop-up lounges. For example, Chase took over a boat floating on the Seine River in Paris during the 2024 Summer Olympics. There, travelers got to watch the Olympics on a huge screen, were treated to gifts including Olympics pins and could indulge in complimentary drinks and light bites.
