NerdWallet Review: The Gold Delta SkyMiles®Business Credit Card from American Express OPEN
No spending threshold for bonus: You'll get your bonus right away, instead of having to spend a certain amount. This is ideal for those looking to take take some free money and run.
Annual fee: The Gold Delta SkyMiles®Business Credit Card from American Express OPEN does come with an annual fee. Many people reject cards with fees out-of-hand, but that's not always the best strategy. Many rewards cards, for example, give better payouts in exchange for an annual fee, so if you spend a lot, it's worth it. Credit cards for bad credit will often carry annual fees as well, and are pretty much a necessary evil if you're looking to build credit.
Credit Card Showdown: Gold Delta SkyMiles®Business Credit Card from American Express OPEN vs. Ink Cash℠ Business
Larger cash advance interest rate: The card's cash advance APR is higher than the Ink Cash℠ Business's. If you withdraw cash from a teller at a bank or from an ATM, you'll pay more. Keep in mind too that cash advances start accruing interest that very day, so the difference in interest rates gets worse if you wait to pay it back.
Bigger signup bonus: The Gold Delta SkyMiles®Business Credit Card from American Express OPEN has a bigger signup bonus than the Ink Cash℠ Business. While there are of course other factors to look at, there's nothing wrong with getting psyched about a big signup bonus.
No promotional APR: The card doesn't have an introductory APR promotion. This puts it at a disadvantage for business owners looking to furnish a new office, or otherwise make a big purchase they'll need time to pay down.
Lower late fee: It comes with a lower late payment fee, which you incur if you can't make a payment or don't make the minimum. No one's late on purpose, but in case it happens, it's nice to know these guys won't slam you with fees.
