Updated cards
Two existing cards also have been updated as part of the AmEx-Hilton launch. Among other changes, both cards no longer charge foreign transaction fees (formerly 2.7%):

The Hilton Honors™ Surpass® Card from American Express has been rebranded as the Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card. (UPDATE July 18, 2019: This card has revived the Surpass name and is now called the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card — see rates and fees. The current bonus offer: Earn 130,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 in purchases on the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership.
