For a limited time, Chase and IHG are sweetening a summer sign-up bonus offer, with an added statement credit on two popular IHG credit cards.

There’s no change to the points earned through these bonuses on the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card or the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card. However, both cards now offer an added statement credit available on purchases at IHG Hotels and Resorts during your first year after account opening.

Here's what you need to know about these boosted welcome offers:

  • New offer: Earn 80,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months from account opening. Plus, new cardmembers can earn up to $50 in statement credits on purchases made at IHG Hotels and Resorts during the first 12 months from account opening.

How valuable are these boosted bonuses?

Currently, NerdWallet values IHG points at 0.8 cent apiece. That brings the value of these sign-up bonuses to $1,220 for the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card ($1,120 worth of points, plus the $100 statement credit) and $690 for the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card ($640 worth of points, plus the $50 statement credit).

NerdWallet calculates this baseline valuation by comparing cash prices to available reward redemptions for hotel stays across multiple destinations, dates and brands within the IHG umbrella.

Here’s a quick look at the hotels included in that offering:

  • Six Senses.

  • Regent.

  • InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.

  • Vignette Collection.

  • Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.

  • Hotel Indigo.

  • Voco.

  • Hualuxe.

  • Crowne Plaza.

  • Even Hotels.

  • Holiday Inn Express.

  • Holiday Inn.

  • Avid.

  • Atwell Suites.

  • Staybridge Suites.

  • Holiday Inn Club Vacations.

  • Candlewood Suites.

Overall, this isn’t IHG’s best-ever sign-up bonus offer. But if you’ve been on the fence about these cards, now may be a great time to pick up an already valuable bonus with the added perk of a statement credit.
