Overall

4.0

With only one branch location and no checking account options, Synchrony doesn’t fit the mold of most banks. Still, this bank is worth considering if you like great interest rates on savings products and prefer banking online.

Maybe a separation from your checking account is just what your rainy-day fund needs to prosper.

Never again!
The ability for them to track your account is laughable. Spent 1.5 hours this morning attempting to make a payment and no one could find my account (spoke to $ different customer service reps). Hunted through my notes of previous payment and found a number to call and make payment by phone. Automated system could take care of it while live people could not!

Florida based
This company may only have one branch office, but all of phone calls and all mail goes through FLORIDA. Only ONE location/address in Florida has different zip codes for different companies/banks/finance companies, and this is where everything is filtered through for Synchrony Bank and various others... Very strange In My Opinion...
