Most travelers can find an IHG hotel that suits their travel style, budget and amenity needs. And the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card helps cardholders stay on easy-to-earn awards.

Yet this credit card might be best suited for those who like to dine out and explore new restaurants and bars. Points can be earned through the Dine & Earn program, through partnerships with food and dining mobile apps and even on fast food and takeout.

Here are four ways foodies can earn more points and perks with the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card.

1. Join the Dine & Earn program

IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card holders will receive 2 points per $1 spent at restaurants and grocery stores, but joining the Dine & Earn program can earn you even more. You can earn up to 10 points per $1 spent at restaurants participating in the Dine & Earn program, depending on your membership level.

2. Book through OpenTable

When making a reservation on OpenTable, IHG Rewards members can earn up to 500 points on their first booking. Earn 2X the points when making a reservation at an IHG featured restaurant. Future reservations earn 150 or more points.

Plus if you’re registered with the Dine & Earn program, you could get up to 8 points per $1 spent on the restaurant purchase. Pay with the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card and you’ll get 2 more points per $1 on top of that.

3. Order takeout through GrubHub

Order food through IHG’s Trip Extras portal or the IHG app and you’ll earn 500 IHG Rewards Club points on the first order and 250 points on all future orders. There’s no minimum spend per order, so you could spend $10 on a lunchtime delivery and earn 250 points. That’s 25 points per dollar spent. And again, you’d receive another 2 points per $1 spent when using the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card.

Canceled offers don’t count and you must enter your IHG loyalty number.

4. More perks when you stay at Kimpton Hotels

IHG Platinum Elite status is offered to all IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card holders, which means perks like Raid the Bar at Kimpton Hotels are available. IHG Rewards elite members get a $10 credit per stay that can be used to “Raid the Bar” in the room or at the hotel bar during qualified stays. The exact value can vary by hotel and city.

Kimpton hotels also offer happy hours with complimentary wine, often from local wineries. Appetizers may also be served for free as well. The wine hour is in addition to welcome amenities and other perks you may receive for a free drink.
