We believe everyone should be able to make financial decisions with
confidence. While we don't cover every company or financial product on
the market, we work hard to share a wide range of offers and objective
editorial perspectives.
So how do we make money? Our partners compensate us for advertisements that
appear on our site. This compensation helps us provide tools and services -
like free credit score access and monitoring. With the exception of
mortgage, home equity and other home-lending products or services, partner
compensation is one of several factors that may affect which products we
highlight and where they appear on our site. Other factors include your
credit profile, product availability and proprietary website methodologies.
However, these factors do not influence our editors' opinions or ratings, which are based on independent research and analysis. Our partners cannot
pay us to guarantee favorable reviews. Here is a list of our partners.

Here’s what you need to know about the Splurge Credit.
NerdWallet's ratings are determined by our editorial team. The scoring formula takes into account the type of card being reviewed (such as cash back, travel or balance transfer) and the card's rates, fees, rewards and other features.
If you have the Citi Strata Elite℠ Card, the credit is worth up to $200 per year and may be applied to purchases from up to two of the following brands:
1stDibs. This e-retailer specializes in vintage decor, art, jewelry and clothes.

How to use the Splurge Credit
To receive the splurge credit, you’ll first need to activate the merchants you plan to make a purchase from. Activation may be completed at citi.com/splurgecredit or over the phone by calling 1-833-888-2168.
You can change your selections at any time.
After an eligible purchase is made with an activated merchant, Citi will automatically issue the Splurge Credit up to the maximum allowed amount.
Pay attention to the fine print to ensure that a purchase is eligible for the Splurge Credit:
To qualify for the Live Nation credit: Purchases must be made directly on livenation.com or ticketmaster.com, and the event must occur within the United States or U.S. territories.
To qualify for the American Airlines credit: Purchases must be made directly from American Airlines or American Airlines Vacations. Car rentals, hotel bookings and purchases of AAdvantage status boost or renewal are ineligible.
