The Wyndham Rewards Earner® Premier Card, issued by Barclays, launched in June 2026 as the highest-end card in Wyndham’s portfolio.
It offers a large welcome bonus and generous rewards on Wyndham bookings, along with other statement credits and discounts that can help make the card’s $395 annual fee more palatable.
There are other Wyndham credit cards for consumers, including the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card and Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card. Here’s how the cards compare:

Here are five things to know about the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Premier Card.

1. There’s a sizable welcome offer

As of June 2026, new cardholders were eligible for this bonus: Earn 90,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 on purchases and paying the annual fee in full, both within the first 120 days, and also earn 30,000 bonus points after spending $750 at Hotels by Wyndham in the first 180 days.
NerdWallet values Wyndham points at 0.7 cent each. This is a baseline value, drawn from real-world data, not a maximized value. In other words, you should aim for award redemptions that offer 0.7 cent or more in value from your Wyndham points.

2. Multiple spending categories earn extra points

The Wyndham Rewards Earner® Premier Card earns:
  • 8 points per dollar on Wyndham bookings.
  • 4 points per dollar on eligible Vacation Club, dining and grocery store purchases (excluding Target and Walmart), and also travel. Travel purchases include airfare, rental cars, ride sharing services, gas, electric vehicle charging, tolls and trains.
  • 1 point per dollar on all other purchases, excluding Vacation Club down payments.

3. You’ll get Wyndham benefits and discounts

As the most premium Wyndham card, the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Premier Card offers more than its lower- or no-annual-fee counterparts:
  • A 30,000-point anniversary bonus, which is enough to book a free night at Wyndham's highest redemption tier (or four nights at the lowest tier).
  • Free night after you stay five or more nights in a calendar year, worth up to 30,000 points.
  • A 25% discount on free night redemptions, meaning award bookings start at 5,625 points instead of 7,500.
  • Access to lower “cardmember rates” on Wyndham bookings.
  • 15% discount when you buy points.
  • Diamond status, which grants you 10 points per dollar on Wyndham bookings (in addition to the 8 points per dollar you earn with the card), late checkout, early check-in, rental car upgrades with Avis and Budget, suite upgrades, a free snack or beverage at check-in and more.
  • Emerald Club Executive status with National Car Rental, which offers car upgrades, free second drivers, faster car drop-offs and more.

4. Earn statement credits for specific purchases

As is becoming typical of premium-level cards, you can chip away at the card’s annual fee by getting statement credits. It’s not the most extensive "coupon book" card out there, but there are a few to keep track of:
  • $100 annual credit for eligible Wyndham hotel purchases. This is in the form of a single credit you can get after spending $100 or more.
  • $65 annual credit toward wholesale club purchases. This is in the form of a single credit to cover membership fees.
  • Up to $120 in credits per year for eligible meal delivery purchases. This is in the form of monthly $10 credits for third-party meal delivery services. It doesn’t include delivery by restaurants themselves.
  • Complimentary subscription to Wyndham Rewards Insider (valued at $95 per year). This includes some of the benefits you already get with the card, such as booking discounts on Wyndham stays and automatic Gold status (the card grants you Diamond status, which is fancier). You also earn 50% more points on qualifying stays, along with discounts on flights, rental cars, cruises, all-inclusive resorts and tours. You can access premium seats for events, travel concierge service, deals at participating merchants and more.
  • Up to $100 in credits toward streaming service subscriptions. Essentially, this will cover your monthly fees up to the $100 annual limit.
  • Up to $120 credit for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry application fees every four years.

5. Redeem points in a variety of ways

Redeem points for Wyndham stays, either as free nights (starting at 7,500 points) or by combining at least 750 points with cash. Or use your points for experiences, Wyndham travel bundles that combine stays with flights and rental cars, AARP membership, merchandise, tours and activities, charitable donations and gift cards. You can also transfer them to one of Wyndham’s transfer partners, or apply them toward maintenance fees if you own a Wyndham timeshare.
