How is the NerdWallet app changing?

We’re redesigning the app to focus more clearly on your financial picture—especially your net worth and your wealth. These updates aim to make your user experience smoother, while still highlighting key features like our Nerdy content, the Cash Account offered by Atomic Brokerage (Elise to link LP), and more.

We'll still track your credit score and spending -- credit score now lives in your profile accessed in the top left menu, and cash flow lives in the overall net worth view.

What exactly is new in the app?

A Net Worth–focused Home tab with a new design and simplified navigation
A new Move tab where you can open and manage Atomic accounts
Refreshed Learn and Shop tabs with improved top-section content

What happened to the old features like bills or the 50/30/20 budget?

We’ve removed legacy features like:

Bill tracking
50/30/20 budget
ScribeUp
Insurance linking

You can still view your cash flow by tapping the “Cash Flow” card on the Home tab. We’ll continue to improve money-tracking tools based on what’s most useful to users like you.

Will I still have access to my linked accounts and data?

Your linked accounts, transaction history, and net worth data remain available in the redesigned experience. The structure may look different, but your data is still there.

Your former data with ScribeUp and Canopy for insurance linking [ELISE TO CLARIFY]

Do I need to do anything to get the new design?

Nope. The redesign will automatically roll out in version 14.0.0 of the NerdWallet app.
