We believe everyone should be able to make financial decisions with
confidence. While we don't cover every company or financial product on
the market, we work hard to share a wide range of offers and objective
editorial perspectives.
So how do we make money? Our partners compensate us for advertisements that
appear on our site. This compensation helps us provide tools and services -
like free credit score access and monitoring. With the exception of
mortgage, home equity and other home-lending products or services, partner
compensation is one of several factors that may affect which products we
highlight and where they appear on our site. Other factors include your
credit profile, product availability and proprietary website methodologies.
However, these factors do not influence our editors' opinions or ratings, which are based on independent research and analysis. Our partners cannot
pay us to guarantee favorable reviews. Here is a list of our partners.

What is Priority Pass?
Priority Pass is a membership-based lounge access program that offers travelers more lounge options at airports around the world.
In exchange for a fee, members gain access to a network of 1,500 lounges and related airport experiences worldwide. You don’t need a business or first-class ticket to enter. Any airline boarding pass for same-day travel will do.
Priority Pass is designed to allow members to visit a wide range of lounges. Options range from independent lounges, credit card lounges like Chase lounges, and airline lounges — even if you aren’t flying on its corresponding airline.
Not all airports have lounges in the Priority Pass network, and some only offer a couple. Some lounge programs, like Capital One lounges, aren’t included in the network.
It depends what type of Priority Pass membership you hold (and how you got it). Some Priority Pass members can bring a guest — and some can bring several. However, other forms of Priority Pass membership only work for you, but not your guests.
Can you book Priority Pass lounges in advance
Some lounges allow you to prebook access, which can be handy if you’re traveling through busy airports and are concerned there may be a wait to enter. The catch? Some lounges charge for the privilege of reserving your spot.
If you want to pre-book, search for your preferred lounge in the Priority Pass app or on the website to see if reservations are available via a “Pre-Book” button.
If the button is there, you’ll select it and pay any necessary fees in advance (usually a few dollars in addition to any guest or access fees).
The number of Priority Pass guests members can invite to join them depends on both the actual lounge, as well as the exact type of Priority Pass membership you hold (and how you acquired it).
You can find the lounge-specific guest limit on the lounge’s information page.
The Priority Pass cost for a guest can vary and will be charged to the card linked to your account. The fee depends on the lounge, and whether you purchased your membership from Priority Pass or received it as a perk with a credit card.
The price for children may also vary by lounge. Some charge the same rates as adult guests, while others allow children under a certain age (usually 2) to enter for free. You’ll want to check with each lounge to find out.
For memberships purchased from Priority Pass
In general, if you purchased your membership from Priority Pass, guest passes for most lounges cost $35 per guest. But Chase Sapphire Lounges that are part of the Priority Pass lounge network charge a flat fee of $75 per guest, a reduction from the typical $100 entrance fee charged to non-Priority Pass members.
For memberships via credit cards
Guest fees and policies vary by card. For example, Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardmembers can get up to two free guest passes per visit. Additional guests cost $27 each.

How many guests are allowed on a Priority Pass? How many guests are allowed on a Priority Pass?

Memberships purchased directly from Priority Pass charge fees for guests. If you have a credit card that offers membership as a perk, check your agreement to see how many guests you’re allowed to bring for free.

Can you add someone to your Priority Pass membership? Can you add someone to your Priority Pass membership?
A Priority Pass membership purchased directly from Priority Pass doesn’t include the option to share your membership with a friend or family member. However, some credit cards that offer membership as a perk do.
Some cards extend individual memberships to any authorized users added to the account. There may be an annual fee involved to add an authorized user, but it could be worth it if you and your spouse or partner fly separately often.
