More than a dozen domestic and global carriers operate service to Salt Lake City International Airport, including Delta Air Lines, its largest airline — accounting for more than 70% of its air traffic. Despite the many carriers, passengers starting their journey or making a connection in Salt Lake City might be disappointed to learn the airport has very few lounge options.

Delta Sky Club
- Located in Concourse A, east of the Airport Plaza.
- Open from 4:45 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Sky Club is the only Salt Lake City airport lounge in a traditional sense. When Delta Sky Club opened at the new Salt Lake City International Airport in 2020, it was the largest Sky Club.
When flying from or connecting through SLC, Delta flyers have more than 28,000 square feet of space to use to relax, grab a bite, work or shower before their flight. Although it’s no longer the largest Sky Club, it’s still an impressive airport lounge.
The Salt Lake City Sky Club features plenty of seating areas, workstations, phone booths, a 360-degree fireplace, Intermountain West-inspired artwork collection, two full-service marble-clad bars, two buffet stations, showers and a covered Sky Deck that offers sweeping views of the Wasatch Mountains.
How to access the SLC Sky Club
Here's a shortlist of who can access Delta Sky Clubs.
- Delta Sky Club lounge members: Delta flyers who purchase annual Sky Club membership can access the lounge with a same-day ticket on Delta or a partner airline. However, effective Jan. 1, 2023, only Delta Medallion members of the SkyMiles program can buy an annual membership. If you’re a Lifetime Delta Sky Club member, your access benefits remain the same.
- Delta One passengers: Travelers flying in Delta One on international or domestic itineraries can access the Sky Club.
- SkyTeam premium cabin passengers: Travelers flying in first or business class on international itineraries on SkyTeam carriers can access the Sky Club.
- Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallions: Most elite members of the SkyMiles program (with the exception of Silver Medallion) traveling in Premium Select on international flights or in Delta One on any flight can bring one guest for free. Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion elites traveling in first class to Canada, Mexico or Central America also may bring a guest as long as the companion is traveling in first class as well.
- SkyTeam Elite Plus members: SkyTeam Elite Plus flyers receive Sky Club access for them and one guest when flying SkyTeam carriers in any cabin (except basic economy).
- Certain cardholders. There are a handful of travel credit cards that include a limited number Delta Sky Club day passes in their suite of perks.

USO Lounge
- Located in Concourse A, near Gate A25.
- Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
- USO airport lounges are open to active members of the U.S. armed forces, reserve and guard members as well as their families.
At the USO Lounge in Salt Lake City, passengers will find complimentary beverages and a snack bar, cable TV, charging stations, work areas, computers and laptops for use, Wi-Fi and luggage storage.

Minute Suites
- Located in Concourse A, near Gate A33.
- Open 24 hours per day.
- To access one of the seven Minute Suites at Salt Lake City Airport, you need to make a reservation online and pay $55 for the first hour and then $13.75 for each 15-minute increment. Stays of eight hours for overnight layovers are available for $175.
Each Minute Suite is equipped with a sofa bed for up to two people, fresh bedding and a workstation. Free Wi-Fi, smart TV and a white noise machine are also available.
🤓 Nerdy Tip
Minute Suites are part of the Priority Pass Select program. You can get into this lounge if you have a credit card with Priority Pass or have purchased a program membership. Does Salt Lake City Airport have any Priority Pass lounges?
Although not a traditional airport lounge, the Minute Suites location is available to select Priority Pass Select members. Customers who have their Priority Pass membership through Chase, either with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® or the Ritz-Carlton Credit Card (not open to new applicants), can enjoy complimentary Minute Suites access.
Keep in mind that American Express and Capital One cardholders, such as Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card holders, don’t have access to non-lounge Priority Pass benefits.
Priority Pass Select members can use their membership to visit a Minute Suites location for one hour for free and add another hour at a discounted rate of $34 (normally $55). Up to three guests are allowed at no charge, as long as they share the same suite.
Final thoughts on Salt Lake City airport lounges
Salt Lake City is a Delta hub, so it makes sense that it’s built a large Sky Club for its passengers.
Having a USO airport lounge location helps active-duty military members and their families find somewhere to go as well. However, the airport is lacking options for non-Delta flyers, and one Minute Suites location is barely cutting it for those with an eligible Priority Pass Select membership.
