Avianca Airlines Launches 2 New Credit Cards With Cardless

Financial technology company Cardless is pairing with Avianca Airlines, one of the largest airlines in Latin America, to create two new credit cards for U.S. consumers:
The Avianca lifemiles American Express Card.
The Avianca lifemiles American Express Elite Card.
Prior to the cards’ launch, you could join a waitlist to be among the first to apply. If you did so, you could be eligible for a bonus of up to 10,000 LifeMiles, the currency of Avianca’s loyalty program, if your application for the card is approved within four weeks of the launch. Terms apply.
Avianca is part of the Star Alliance, so you can redeem LifeMiles not just with that airline, but others including United Airlines.

Both cards offer an accelerated path to Silver elite status, which offers benefits including bonus miles earned on Avianca flights, priority check-in and boarding, passes to Avianca lounges, additional checked bags, discounts on premium seat purchases and more.
The Avianca lifemiles American Express Card
Annual fee: $99.
Welcome offer: Earn up to 40,000 LifeMiles upon being approved for this credit card after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days. Terms apply.

2 LifeMiles per $1 spent on Avianca or LifeMiles purchases, as well as at restaurants and on groceries.
