Capital One is bringing back a generous welcome offer for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, while also growing its list of airline transfer partners to include JetBlue.

The new welcome bonus

Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card
NerdWallet rating

Beginning Feb. 18, 2025, new cardholders can get a bonus worth $1,000 in travel for a limited time:

  • A one-time $250 credit, which can be used to book flights, hotels, vacation rentals and rental cards through Capital One Travel. This credit is valid for a year.

  • 75,000 bonus miles (worth $750 in travel) after spending $4,000 in three months.

The $95-annual-fee Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card last offered this bonus-credit combo from July 16 to Sept. 9, 2024. The card also earns:

  • 5 miles per $1 spent on hotels, vacation rentals, and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.

  • 2 miles per $1 on all other purchases.

An additional transfer partner

After a few years apart, JetBlue is rejoining Capital One’s lengthy roster of airline and hotel partners, and it’s the only U.S.-based carrier on that list.

You can now transfer miles from a qualifying Capital One consumer or business card to JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program. Eligible cards include the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, Capital One Venture X Business and Capital One Spark Miles for Business.

Capital One miles will transfer to JetBlue at a 5:3 ratio. This means that 2,000 Capital One miles will convert to 1,200 TrueBlue points.

NerdWallet values TrueBlue points at 1.5 cents each.
