These limited-time offers for these cards expired in January 2019. For current offers, see our details pages on the Capital One Spark Cash for Business and the Capital One Spark Miles for Business.

For a limited time, Capital One is offering giant extra sign-up bonuses worth a grand total of $2,000 each on two of its most rewarding small-business credit cards. The catch? You have to charge a giant amount of expenses on the card in the first half-year of ownership.

The new bonuses are:

  • Capital One Spark Cash for Business: Earn a $500 bonus after spending $5,000 within the first three months and an additional $1,500 bonus after spending an additional $45,000 within the first six months.

  • Capital One Spark Miles for Business: Earn 50,000 bonus miles (worth $500) after spending $5,000 within the first three months and an additional 150,000 bonus miles (worth $1,500) after spending an additional $45,000 within the first six months.

The previous offer featured the same base bonus worth $500 or 50,000 miles, but with a slightly lower required spend of $4,500. The difference is the additional new extra bonus. For those who can spend enough on the card to earn it, the total bonus would be worth $2,000.

The two cards are the same except for expressing rewards currency in cash or miles, which are valued at 1 cent per mile. They each offer a flat-rate double cash back or miles per $1 spent. And each has an annual fee of $0 intro for the first year, then $95. Both require good or excellent credit.

Both cards earned spots on NerdWallet’s list of best small business credit cards.
