Other business credit cards from U.S. Bank
5 things to know about U.S. Bank business credit cards
- You don't need perfect credit. Most business credit cards require good-to-excellent personal credit — typically a FICO score of 690 or higher. U.S. Bank sets a more attainable bar, requiring only a 631 or higher. That makes them among the few business credit cards available to business owners with fair credit.
- Some cards offer interest-free balance transfers. It's hard to find a business credit card with an intro APR offer that applies to balance transfers. U.S. Bank has two of them. The U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card is consistently our pick for best balance transfer business card. It offers 0% intro APR on Purchases and Balance Transfers for 12 billing cycles, and then the ongoing APR of 17.49%-26.49% Variable APR. The Business Shield has a nearly identical offer, but with a lower ongoing APR.
- Spending on employee cards doesn't count toward the bonus threshold. U.S. Bank has some of the best business card sign-up bonuses. Just don't count on employee cards to help you hit the spending minimum — only spending on the primary card applies. That’s different from other major issuers like Chase and Capital One.
- There are no travel partners. Transferring credit card rewards to hotel and airline loyalty programs is an easy hack to increase the value of your points. But you don't have that option with the U.S. Bank Business Altitude® Connect Visa Signature® Card or the U.S. Bank Business Altitude Power® Visa Signature® Card. Business travel cards from Chase, Capital One and American Express let you transfer points and miles to more than a dozen travel partners, including Air France-KLM Flying Blue, British Airways Club, World of Hyatt and Hilton Honors.
- Some cards have a built-in buy now, pay later. U.S. Bank's ExtendPay® Plan lets you split big purchases into installments with a fixed monthly fee rather than interest. ExtendPay® is available on multiple cards, including the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card, Altitude Connect and Business Shield. Only the account owner can enroll. The feature is subject to eligibility and other terms.
