The larger bonuses on Capital One's Spark cards have expired. See our details pages for the Capital One Spark Cash for Business and the Capital One Spark Miles for Business for the current offers.

Capital One’s giant sign-up offers for its Spark-branded business credit cards will expire near the end of January 2019.

Offers announced in December:

Capital One Spark Cash for Business: Earn up to $2,000: Earn a $500 cash bonus when you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months and $1,500 when you spend $50,000 in the first 6 months of opening your account. Limited Time Offer.

Capital One Spark Miles for Business: Earn up to 200,000 miles: Earn a bonus of 50,000 miles when you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months and 150,000 miles when you spend $50,000 in the first 6 months of opening your account. Limited Time Offer.

Note that the outsized bonuses require an outsized amount of spending over six months.

Those limited-time offers expire Jan. 28 and will probably retreat to something similar to the previous offers of $500 or 50,000 miles for spending $4,500 in first 3 months, according to a Capital One spokeswoman.

“We have not finalized the replacement sign-up offer yet, but it will likely be close to our standard sign-up bonus,” said spokeswoman Lauren Belisle.

The two cards are the same except for expressing rewards currency in cash or miles, which are valued at 1 cent per mile. They each offer a flat-rate double cash back or miles per $1 spent. And each has an annual fee of $0 intro for the first year, then $95. Both require good or excellent credit.

Both cards earned spots on NerdWallet’s list of best small business credit cards.
