The best Capital One credit card sign-up bonus for consumers is a toss-up between two cards and will depend on how much you value premium travel perks.
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card has a $395 annual fee and currently offers new cardholders the following offer: Earn 75,000 bonus miles when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening, equal to $750 in travel. The annual fee is high, but a $300 annual travel credit combined with the 10,000 bonus miles you receive every anniversary year effectively negates the annual fee (as long as you use them!).
Alternatively, the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card has a $95 annual fee and gives new cardholders a similar offer: Enjoy a one-time bonus of 75,000 miles once you spend $4,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening, equal to $750 in travel. However, if you don’t value the premium travel card perks as much and would rather maintain a lower annual fee, you’d do better with this offer.

The best Capital One Travel card offer for businesses
The best Capital One travel card offer for businesses will depend on how much your business spends.
If your business spends a lot of money, the Capital One Venture X Business offers one of the largest sign-up offers available on a business travel card: Earn 150,000 bonus miles once you spend $30,000 in the first 3 months from account opening. If you were to complete the entire offer, it’d be worth at least $3,500 towards travel. But even if you only complete the first part of the offer, you’d still earn at least $1,500 in travel.
If your business doesn’t spend that much money, your best offer will be the Capital One Spark Miles for Business. With that card, you can Earn a one-time bonus of 50,000 miles – equal to $500 in travel – once you spend $4,500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. You won’t get the fancy travel perks as you’ll find with the Capital One Venture X Business, but you’ll also have a much lower spend requirement to earn the bonus, and a lower annual fee.
