Who Benefits the Most From the Capital One Venture Card?

Not every credit card rewards system is for everyone. Certain cards might seem enticing until you realize that most of the bonus earning is in categories you don't spend money on, or for an airline whose miles you can't use.
You won't have such problems with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, which earns a flat 2% back on all purchases. Here's who benefits most from having the card.
Travelers
Users of the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card accrue 2x miles for every dollar spent. With no restrictions on how or where to earn 2x miles, it doesn't get more flexible than that.
Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card cardholders can also take advantage of up to $100 worth of credit toward Global Entry or TSA Precheck application fees. Global entry shortens the time international travelers spend going through customs, while TSA Precheck reduces much of the hassle of passing through security checkpoints at airports. Whichever option you select, just pay for it with your Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and the credit will be applied within two billing cycles.
If you travel abroad, no need to worry about foreign transaction fees. If you purchased your trip with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, you also benefit from default travel accident insurance for no extra charge. The card also provides collision damage waiver coverage on your rental car if you use it to pay for the rental, meaning you don't need to purchase that insurance separately.
In terms of cashing in your rewards, the card allows you to book travel however you want, then redeem miles for statement credit for some or all of the cost. Miles are worth 1 cent apiece when redeemed — and there's no minimum redemption amount.
If you aren’t interested in using your miles for travel, you may want to look elsewhere. Miles are only worth half as much when redeemed for cash.
Those concerned about security
How often do you buy things online? If you ever purchase from third-party sites, you may be worried about having your credit card information stolen. Even big online retailers have had information breaches, exposing vulnerable customers to credit card fraud and the headache of securing their account.
Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card cardholders don’t have to worry about those issues if they utilize free virtual card numbers from Eno. Use these virtual cards to shop in peace, and if a website gets breached, freeze just that virtual number and continue to use your card in peace.
The Eno digital assistant can also text you updates from your account, showing you when and where your card is used and helping you proactively spot fraud. And if something does happen, like your card getting stolen, you can easily freeze the whole account. And don’t worry about any charges fraudulently made without your authorization — cardholders aren't held responsible for unauthorized charges.
Those who want to share the account with someone
Want to give your partner or child access to your account without giving them your card? Just add an authorized user. They’ll get a card with their name on it, but it all ties back into your line of credit. It doesn’t cost anything to add an authorized user to your account, and you’ll be able to track purchases via the Capital One app and earn rewards.
