Why the Ink Business Preferred Credit Card is Great for Frequent Business Travelers

Many or all of the products featured here are from our partners who compensate us. This may influence which products we write about and where and how the product appears on a page. Every credit card has customers in mind and sets up the card’s perks to match their needs.
For the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, where the most points are awarded for common business spending, it’s the business traveler.
Here’s what business travelers should know about the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card.
Earn big points in business categories
For the first $150,000 you spend on travel, shipping, internet, cable, phone bills and advertising purchases, you’ll earn 3 points for every dollar spent. Employees get free cards, too, so more people can earn points.
And don't gloss over the welcome bonus: Earn 100k bonus points after you spend $15,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That's $1,000 cash back or $1,250 toward travel when redeemed through Chase Ultimate Rewards®

Points don’t expire
As long as you don’t close the card, your points don’t expire.

Never close the card out before checking your points balance. You may have more points left than you thought, and they can be redeemed for cash or gift cards. This gives cardholders some room if you don’t have enough cash left for a travel purchase.
Easy transfers
You can transfer points on a 1:1 basis to a dozen popular airline and hotel loyalty programs, including United, Southwest, British Airways, Marriott and Hyatt. Transfers may give you even more value per point.
But note: Points used on in the Chase Ultimate Rewards® travel center come with a 25% bonus, so research how far your points will get you before purchasing.
