On the whole, business credit cards aren’t quite as generous with introductory 0% interest periods as their consumer-oriented counterparts. While many consumer cards offer 0% periods of 15 months or more, business cards rarely go longer than nine months to a year. Still, if you’re looking to finance a big purchase for your business or transfer high-interest debt, you can get a break from interest with these cards. All of the cards below charge no annual fee.

U.S. Bank Business Platinum

0% intro APR period on purchases and balance transfers: 20 billing cycles

The zero percent introductory APR period on the U.S. Bank Business Platinum is several months longer than what you’ll find on competing cards, and it applies not just to purchases, but also to balance transfers. You won’t get rewards, and it’s not the best choice for spending abroad, given its 3% foreign transaction fee. But if you’re looking for a lot of breathing room, here’s your card.

Ink Business Unlimited℠ Credit Card

0% intro APR period on purchases: 12 months

The Ink Business Unlimited℠ Credit Card is an excellent, no-fuss card for entrepreneurs whose spending doesn’t fit neatly into the bonus rewards categories on many business credit cards. You earn 1.5% cash back on every purchase, and the bonus offer is outstanding for a $0-annual-fee card: Earn $500 bonus cash back after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

Discover it® Business Card

0% intro APR period on purchases: 12 months

The Discover it® Business Card has a lot in common with the Ink Business Unlimited℠ Credit Card. It, too, offers 1.5% cash back on all purchases, and it has a comparable 0% intro period. But instead of an upfront cash bonus, you get Discover’s signature bonus offer, which it describes this way: “Get an unlimited dollar-for-dollar match of all the cash back you earn at the end of your first year, automatically. And no limit to how much we’ll match. So you could turn $350 cash back into $700 with Cashback Match™.”

Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card

0% intro APR period on purchases: 12 months

The Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card gives you bonus cash back in common business spending categories: 5% back on the first $25,000 in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services each account year; 2% back on the first $25,000 in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account year; and 1% on other purchases. The bonus is great, too: Earn $500 bonus cash back after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card

0% intro APR period on purchases and balance transfers: 12 months

The American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card shines with a zero percent intro period that applies not only to purchases, but also to balance transfers. As for rewards, you’ll earn 2% cash back on the first $50,000 in eligible purchases each year and 1% after that. Your rewards are applied to your statement automatically. Terms apply. This card has no bonus offer, though.

Methodology

NerdWallet’s credit cards team selects the best cards in each category based on overall consumer value. Factors in our evaluation include fees, promotional and ongoing APRs, and sign-up bonuses; for rewards cards, we consider earning and redemption rates, redemption options and redemption difficulty. A single card is eligible to be chosen in multiple categories.
